Is there a way to merge photos into Word
I am doing a large merge with a lot of data. I would also like to

Missing Styles
Hello,
I had created five outline styles to be available in all documents but only
two of them are listed in the styles pain, even when I select "all styles".
When I try to import/export it. the missing styles are listed in the current
document already. When I click "Ctrl+Shift+S" in the styles pane & I type in

Copying Bullet points in Word 2007 Home and Student
I am using Word 2007 and 'am having great difficulty copying bullet points
from one word document to another.
The problem that I have is that when copying the details into a new document
the bullet points appear with squares around them and cant get rid of them.

Heading 1 modifying numbering in MS Word 2007
In MS Word 2003 it was possible to change the numbering in a heading (1) to
something like "Capter I", by changing the way it is numbered. Now in MS
Word 2007, when I try the same, it puts a tab after the entry. I cannot get
rid of the tab. Any suggestions to get rid of it?

Phantom tag in an index
I am troubleshooting a 400-page manuscript composed in Word that has an
extensive embedded index. The index is currently in the editing phase. There
is a See also reference that displays in the compiled index, but when we
search for the tag to delete it, we cannot find it. How can we find tags that
compile in the index but do not show up in the manuscript?

Table / Figure Caption and tying to Header 1
I am using headers to label my table/figures. Unfortunately, the header uses
Roman numerals, and when I select "Include Chapter Number" it places a Roman
"I" instead of a 1. I get "Table I-1" instead of the desired "Table 1-1". I
tried adding this to the field codes:
{STYLEREF 1 \s \* ARABIC}-{SEQ Table \* ARABIC \s 1}
but it will not change to arabic for the chapter number. Does anyon...

Files created with English Word 2007 not compatible with Swedish W
If I need to edit a file created by an english version of Word 2007, then
adding a description is a pain, becuase once I've added the descrition of
lets say a figure, then I have to switch flield-codes and change it from "SEQ
Figur" to "SEQ Figure". This will make the figure number to be set correctly.
But if I then need to reference this figure, then this is plain impossible,

MS Drawing Object (Logo) invisible!
We use a letter with company logo in the header as a pasted MS Drawing object.
For some reason, the object has become invisible in Print Preview/Print
mode. I have tried moving it and pasting into the main document (i.e not in
the header) with same effect. Am now lost. Any ideas? ...

Opening documents
Ever since I bought a new computer and got Vista, I an unable to open word

Unable to Edit Equations
HI there;
I'm attempting to edit some equations I have inserted in a large
document, and when I double click on them, or right click, there is no
response from the equation. I cannot even delete the equation and
reproduce it.
This document has to be edited. Is there any way for me to access
these equations again, either to delete or edit them?

Microsoft Office has Stopped Working
I recently started having these problems with Word 2007:
* Click to open a Word doco and an empty word screen is displayed.
* File|Open a Word doco and it is displayed but is not editable
* Start a new Word doco and I can edit & save but the error occurs when
I close. I then can't modify the doco like the others.
* Cannot scroll with mouse, only with arrow keys on doco

Captions - how to modify to Table 1, 2, 3a, 3b, 3c, 4, 5a, 5 etc..
I am inserting captions for tables in Word 2003 , but the numbering isn't
consistent. I need them to say:
Table 1, Table 2, Table 3a, Table 3b, Table 3c, Table 4, Table 5a, Table 5b,
Table 6 etc.
Is there an easy way to do this or is this not possible using captions?

Word 2007
How can I make Word autmatically scroll up as I type so that the line I am
typing on always stays at the center of my screen, rather than having to type
on the bottom of the screen (as the document page fills up)? Having to
manually scroll the document every couple of minutes so that I can view what
I am typing at the top or center of the screen, or even to use a macro, is a

Word won't renumber endnotes
I deleted several endnote references in the text of a document. The
associated references disappeared, but the automatic numbering won't renumber
to remove the gaps in the reference numbers. I've done "Select All" and hit
F9, tried changing the automatic numbering from 1,2,3... to a,b,c.... and
back again, saved and retrieved the document, all to no avail. In the print
layout view the...

Convert user interface of 2007 to the old 2003 or XP interface?
I have used Office for about 8 years. I'm pretty proficient at using the
menus in Word and Excel and rely on keyboard shortcuts a great deal. I'm very
used to where the commands are in the previous menus. I can't say how much I
resent having to completely learn where everything is in 2007, and when I
recently bought a new computer the only option for buying Office was the 2007
version.

Old formula editor
Word used to offer a dot-command based formula editor that I used around
1990-1992 to write some papers with mathematical content. Is this old editor
still available in recent versions of Word? If not, how can I read the math
in these old Word files once I manage to retrieve them from old disks?
