Object Link not updating
Hi,
I have a document that I save as htm file using word. In the file is a link
to an excel spreadsheet. I want the link to update everytime the document
gets opened in word however every time I open it an annoying error says 'This
document contains links that may refer to other files. Do you want to update
this docuemtn with the data from the linked files?' I click yes and it does
not ...

Track Changes Reviewer Changes Automatically After Save
Comments show that I have changed the document. Then after I save the
document, the comments show another user. I don't want this. What is
happening and how can I prevent it.

Window size for embedded document

Retain XML comments in Word XML format
Hi All,
I have saved a word document from Word 2003 in XML format. Then I went into
the document with notepad and added some XML comments with the <!-- and -->
tags. If I then bring the document up in Word, make a change and save it, the
comments I entered in XML are removed.
Is there a way to retain the comments I've entered?

Insert a Word document into a Word document maintaining page layou
In Word 2007, is there a way of inserting an existing document, into my
current document whilst maintaining the page layout (margins, columns, etc)

Form Field Validation
I have a form I am working on that has several Form Fields in it. I have used
a macro to validate the fields to prevent the user from leaving any field
blank. I have the cursor start at the first field on the form so they are
required to fill in that field before moving on to the next field. If you try
to tab to the next field while the first one is blank, the macro kicks in and
does not...

"Check the temp environment variable"
The warning "Word could not create the work file. Check the temp environment
variable" appears each time I open a file in Word 2007. This also appears in
some Outlook email applications. Cannot find an answer on the help menu. What
is the solution to fix this problem.

Mail merge question - cell count in error message
I have a coworker trying to do a mail merge using an Excel file for her data.
She says she gets an error message to the effect that it couldn't be
completed due to a calculation error in cell 7420. Does it count the cells
across, then down or vice versa? To further complicate matters I don't think
she has that many cells in her data.

Copy spreedsheet to word
I want to copy a worksheet or range of cells from an Excel worksheet to a
page in a word document. The problem is that when I do so the worksheet
extends to 3 or 5 pages. How can I past the worksheet or range of cells and
have it reduce to fit the word page document? I would like to retain updates
from the source material. Inable to print the Excel page in excel it is
reduced by 60...

Finding Autotext Entries
I use autotext all the time and have lots of entries. I am pretty good at
giving the entries distinct names. However, sometimes I forget the name. Is
there a way to do a word search on autotext entries, so I don't have to
scroll through the whole list?

Compile error message
I wuse Win XP-Home SP-2 and I.E. 6.0 When I open my word 2003 program I get
the following message

If I click on the ok box word seems to operate ok
How do I eliminate this problem pls?? I do not use Adobe nor Norton programs...

Word 2007 enterprise
On a random basis, Word 2007 on a Vista Home Premium laptop, will fail to
start, giving a message saying a problem prevented it from starting properly.
Then saying it is recovering my information, then saying it must shut down
the program and finally (when word has been initiated by double clicking on a

Some captions do not appear in Insert Cross-references dialog

How do I get Latin version of a font?
There is a font in the menu, called Narkisim, that appears (in Latin
characters) to be exactly what I am looking for for a poster application.
Trouble is, the font can only be applied to Hebrew characters; using Latin
characters causes the font to revert to some other one (Constantia).
How can I use the Narkisim font's Latin characters?...

Greetings. I am learning how to use a wiki these days, and with the
