how do I print a folders contents
When I open the word folder there are many items in there and I want to print
a list of all of them. It won't let me do that. Have any of you experienced
this and found a solution?

Can't left click and highlight in Word 2007 document
I lost some mouse function in Word 2007. I can open a document but cannot
place cursor anywhere. I can move the "I" bar around but when I left click
nothing happens. Can't right click in a document either. All functions of
mouse work in all other applications. Also, I can't click and navigate
around in "Word Options" dialog box or "Customize Quick Access Toolbar" pull

How do I save as a html document?
Older versions of Word allowed you to save as an html format ready to upload
to web site - new version does not or I don't see you to do it from the File
menu! Now it saves as a MIME format??...

dayplanner / datebook 2009 - template or download
i am in need of a dayplanner/datebook type of thing for 2009 that i can just
printout and bind. wondering if there is an easy download that anyone is
aware of or a template that i can use - pefer in word but can also use excel.

Mark-Up
I have Word 2003 and my documents open up automatically with the mark-up
option. How can I make it so the documents default to no mark-up when they
are opened? And is there a way to send a document to another Word 2003 user

Printing from Microsoft Word 2003
I have a Microsoft Word 2003 document that is an odd # of pages.
I need to duplex on hole punch paper, stapled, multiple copies.
Issue: Page 1 of the consecutive sets of copies prints on the last page of
the set before it. (i.e., page 1 prints on the back of page 17).

Opening maximized
Windows XP
Office 2007
Can someone please help me. I am going berserk with Word. I want it to open
Maximized. I have clicked Properties, and on the Shortcut menu, selected
Maximize, Apply, OK. It works once or twice then reverts to opening less than
full screen.
I know that it is supposed to open to the size it was previously opened in.
But opening Word, maximizing it, closing it ...

CD LABELS askew
Word 2003/XP
I used CD label template 8931 (Avery) to design a label. It prints two
labels to a page. However, the lettering on the top lable on the sheet is
significiantly closer to the top margin of the label than the lettering on
the bottom label of the sheet is to the top of its label. Is there a way to
prevent this?

odd/even page numbering and footers
I have searched high and low and can't find out how to do this. Help please!!!
I am working on a manual with auto odd/even page numbering. I am making a
change to page 1-4 and must put "CHANGE 3" 12 spaces after 1-4. The problem

I've found a couple of batch converters but the problem is that they work
only on files with a single ".doc" extension. Most WP fiiles I have end in
..wp or .wpd or from really old versions of WP the file extension is just the

heading style 4 in word 2007 not working
I can't get it to number correctly. Where I have 6.3.2 for Heading 3. I get
6.2.2.1 for Heading 4. The set numbering value when you right click doesn't
work at all, and I get even worse results with the other options. Any

Converted TOC Problem
I just converted a medium size (45pp) document from Word 2003 to Word 2007
and added a significant amount of text taken from 30 other documents (total
135 pp). Because much of it was taken from other documents, styles were not
used consistently. I tried to update the exisiting TOC, which I built in
2003 in the original document (and which worked properly in 2003), but the
2007 TOC tool...

Why does Word setup appear every time I try to open the program?
When I try to open Word 2007 the set-up screen appears, followed by the
configuration and install screens. When I cancel them out I'm told to run the
repair program, then Word opens. This happens all the time, even though I
have run the repair progran several times. Any suggestions?
