How can I eliminate page numbering in an MS Word document?
How can I eliminate page numbering in an MS Word document? Using the
"Insert" drop down menu, then "Page Numbering", offers a number of ways to
edit page numbers, but I don't see a way to eliminate them from a document
once inserted.

Hanging Indent Default
In Word 2003 all of a sudden when I manually move the hanging indent over to
..5' it will not stop exactly at .5. When I go into Format Paragraph the
Hanging Indentation is set to .49'. I have to manually change it to .5'. Is
there a way to get this back to allow me to set it at .5' without having to
change it every time. Other users around me are able to set it right at .5'
by just...

UNSAVED FILE URGENT
i was finishing a college reseach paper and i was nearing about 17 pages
when i opened up a different MS Word Doc and Xd it out and when it asked if i
wanted to save i clicked no (i wasnt thinking) and it Xd out of both
documents. can i recover it????...

Why do the macros disappear?
Hi all,
In a Word document of mine I have a few macrobutton fields which look like
this: {MACROBUTTON NoMacro [Click here and write a text]}. Also I have a
macro connected to the BeforePrint event which colors the macrobutton fields
white so that they do not appear on print outs. A macro connected to the
AfterPrint event recolors them black afterwards. All of this work very well.

the word twenty five.I have use a vietnamese card text once with the switch

Page Orientation during printing
Hello - If I have a Word doc with both portrait and landscape pages in it,
when I print it the landscape pages print with the footer on the left side of
the page when it is bound in to a book. This presents a problem when I am
send the document to the a copy company (a quick print type company) that is
going to print mulitple copies of the book. I generate a PDF which goes to

Word link tp Wireless
When I launch Word and I have wireless on 2 words process start in the task
window. It takes a long time b4 it times out. or I end now then doc opens. If
I shut wireless off doc open fine. Can anyone help? I've removed the files
from the disabled list....

when i open an email in Outlook, the clipboard pane opens up
every time I open and email in Outlook 2007 the
Clipboard opens too. I have changed the options on the Clipboard to
turn off "Show Office Clipboard Automatically" , "collect without showing"-
in variouse combinations and still it appears!!
It appears when I open a new email or an existing email. Once I close
it in both then it is gone....until I restart Outlook then it's back
again!!

I was wondering if I gave you a scenario what would be the best solution?

Logo appears on word doc but prints all black
I asked this about an hour ago so I'm sorry if I'm being impatient. My JPEG
logo stored in MY Pictures is easily inserted as a picture to a new word doc.
It appears perfect on the page. When I go to file, print.......all I get is
a completely filled in black box. If I go to My Pictures I can print a
picture.

Spell check WORD 2007 doesn't work
I have a new (Dec 2007) PC that came with Office 2007 (Student Home ed)
installed. I have double checked the various settings (language/auto
check/uncheck hide spelling errors) several times but I can't get the spell
check to work. I intentionally miss-spell a word (easy for me) and the
squiggly red line doesn't appear nor when I hit the check spell button is the

Hi,
I am creatign a Process document and would like to hide procedural steps
with sub menus, but can't figure out how to do this. Below is sample of the
outline.
The sub-menus under each Phase are hidden until the Phase is selected. The

Header text in Word 2007
Sometimes, it appears that a line of text has been duplicated when in reality
it just appears twice, also some of the text that actually is there does not
appear, you don't see it so you start editing again. It does prnt ok though.
Any ideas?
