I deleted the file menu
I by mistake deleted the file menu on my Word program. Now it shows edit,
view, insert etc. but it does not have file. How do I get my file menu back?...

Why can't I do a shrink to fit print option in the 07 word?

CD/DVD label vertical positioning
Hello,
I'm using Avery template 5824 to create CD labels in Word 2002 (Office
XP). Unbelievably, the Avery Word template is not providing me with
any type of visual cue to help me determine where the center hole is

Missing Fonts
Hi, I am missing some pre-installed fonts in my Word Office 2007 such as:
Harlow Solid italic
Eras Light ITC
Forte
I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get those fonts.
Will I have to reinstall my Office 2007 Suite?

Christmas post gone missing
I put a couple of questions up over Christmas.
The emails came through saying replies had been made. Unfortunately nothing
appears on screen later than 23/12/08.
I did spot the post once but there there was no thread attached to it.
I presume The forum has some 'glitches'

Converting word 6.0 docs to word 2002 docs.
Happy New Year to all. Question: I have several old Word 6.0 docs on
my hard drive. I'm now writing in Word 2002. When I try to "save" my
changes, I get a prompt reading "This file needs to be saved using the
6.0 converter," etc. Is there any way to permanently convert these
old docs to 2002 docs, and get rid of the prompt? Many thanks -- Owen...

Printing envelopes

Tracking Changes
we use MS Work 2003.
when working with tracking changes: after making the changes and tracking
them i sent them to my counter part - for her changes. then she returned the
document to me. now i wanted to make more changes, but, I want to use a

even letter spacing for bold fixed font
I frequently use a non-proportional font (Courier), and use BOLD to highlight
portions (words or parts of a word) of text.
I used to be able to set a flag (before word-2000) so that the BOLDed word
within a sentence retained the same spacing that it had before the text was
emboldened and all my columns stayed lined up, but I cannot now find that
flag. Where is it please?...

word 2007 wont open any document
cant seem to be able to open any document format (.doc , .docx , .txt). Both
old and newly created documents
keep getting error message: "The File (FILE NAME) not available." with
occassional crash.
OPEN WITH option doesn't help...

I have checked my Display Settings and I am not in Windows Safe Mode, I have

Move object with text - change default
It is annoying not to mention time consuming to have to keep accessing Format
Auto-shape - Layout - Advanced, to de-select the 'Move object with text'
check box.
This becomes necessary every time objects are grouped.
