Can't share word with other user accounts
Word is fine in my account but other administrive user accounts, Word fails
to run.

Photo insertion problem: goes off top of page
Looked for this on the forum... no luck so here goes: When I try to insert a
photo into my Word2007 a tiny band of the image (only) shows right at the top
of the page on the screen.The bounding box runs off the page above. If I open
a text box and try to insert a photo inside that I get the same kind of
behavior, except that now the small band of photo is inside the text box and
the rest...

Word2K3 Paste over highlighted text not working
On my home installation of Word 2003, if I highlight something in the
document, then do a normal paste operation, the highlighted text will
be directly overlaid by whatever was in the clipboard. Exactly what I

Footnote shows Header just above it.
Hi,
I'm getting a really weird error when I insert a Footnote. The footnote
reference number inserts into the body of the text ok and the Footnote then
appears at the bottom of the page with the small dividing line above it.
However, above the small dividing line appears the Header!!?? Not only that,

Editing problems in WORD 2003
In both new documents and existing documents, I cannot access Cut, Copy,
Paste, Undo and Redo. Both these buttons and the commands under Edit are
greyed out and cannot be accessed. However, I can go into an existing
document and type in new language or make deletions, just cannot use these

Word 2003 displaying Documents in plain text
I am having a problem with Word 2003 opening documents that are created with
office 97. It is showing up as plain text I think. Instead of there being a
apostrophe there is an equals sign and the formatting is not the same. If
there is a 1/2 measurement in the document it shows the letter d instead.

Word 2007 editing problem
I am having a problem similar to one reported by "warnie88" a few days ago,
but the suggested solution did not work for me. I am able to open Word but a
blank document usually does not open. When I try to open an existing file
that document usually does not open. If I am able to get the file open I

Insert ->Text Box *** Word Crashes !
Hi,
I am running Office 2007 with latest updates in Vista Home Premium. I cant
determine since when I have this problem, but I am facing two problems at

Print booklet doc/docx problem
I produced 6page booklet document and saved as: xxx.doc because I know the

Word 2003 Sp3: Paragraph syle a disaster
Both my wife and I updated to Sp3 on XP with Office 2003. I have a Dell
desktop. She has a Sony laptop. We both experience the same problem.
Paragraph styles are now a disaster. Space before & after paragraph sets

Unistall Word 2007
Everytime I start Word it tries to recover previous documents. If I recover
or work on a new document, Word soon stops responding. If I try to print, it
stops responding. To be very clear, Word stops responding everytime I use
it. Can I just unistall Word and reinstall it?...

Word (and Excel)2007 will not open
i've tried repairing, uninstalling & reinstalling the whole suite. Power
Point seems to work but Word only gives me the initial splash screen while
Excel opens the app but doesn't seem to open anything further and if i check
task manager both apps are not responsive. They were working just a few days
ago and nothing's been installed that i know of (it's my daughter's laptop)

Macro Lines Skipped
Wrote Auto-Open Macro to load text file from our server into Word in Word
2000. This works great in Word 2000. Unfortunately, Word 2003 skips over

How do we format a picture object as a "macro enabled template obj
I maintain a set of Word 2003 templates that have a data gathering form that
runs off an "autonew" macro and then populates bookmarks with the content of
the text boxes then cleans up the bookmarks in VBA.

table corrupted error
I keep getting an error message: A table in this document has become
corrupted. To recover the contents of the table: select the table and choose
Convert Table To Text from the table menu. When I click ok Word just closes.
I get that message even if there are no tables in the document.
What do I have to do to prevent that? Is there a way to recover the
document? I use Word 2002.

Word crashes when workstation is unlocked
We have a workstation that seems to crash Word (2007) when unlocked. The
locking of the workstation can either be manual or through screen saver,
either way it forces Word to crash when the workstation is unlocked.
I've yet to find anyone with the same problem.
Luckily, the auto-recover recovers any work each time this happens, but its
frustrating as to why it happens at all....
