Recent Word Security Update Error? (KB956358)
Is anyone else having severe problems with any documents which were created
using "forms" in 2003 compatibility mode after installing this update.
Before the update everything in my form based business document under Word
2007 worked perfectly and are in proper order. But .. immediately following
this update all of our form based documents are completely ruined. Its as if

Bookmark.Start Property
I have a file " *.docx". That document has 2 bookmarks: BM1 and BM2.
Star of BM1 is 1, end of BM1 is 10;
Star of BM2 is 5,end of Bm2 is 20;

Cannot insert file pictures in Word
I need anybody's help with this. I was trying to insert a .jpg graphic in a
Word document (like I have many times before) and when I click on the folder
that holds the graphics, the program hangs up and I get a "Program Not
Responding" message. Then Word shuts down. Here's the problem:
1. I have done this operation many times before with absolutely no
problems-why now?

Unable to edit pictures in Word07
Hi,
I don't know what happened with my Word07 but know I'm unable to edit
inserted pictures. If I pass to full screen reading mode, everything goes ok,
but in normal mode, it is not possible to edit any kind of inserted pictures.
I have already erinstalled the Word Office, but I still have the same
problem. How could I solve this problem??

Hangs when doc double clicked
An odd one for you - Word 2007 hangs whenever I try to open a docx file by
double clicking. Word opens and sits there with and egg timer. CPU isn't at
100%.
What is really odd is that if you open the file from the 'Open' dialogue
within Word, docs open fine.
Tried recreating the file association - no change.
Tried uninstalling & re-installing - no change.
Any ideas?

Word 2002 and ViaVoice 10
-- Greetings !
I have installed ViaVoice 10, and done the "training" sessions.
However, when I come to USE it in Word 2002, I can't activate it.
The ViaVoice "Help" files in WORD are there, but worse than useless.
e.g. "Click the ViaVoice menu " - WHAT ViaVoice menu ?????
Ten years ago I had old versions of both which worked very well together....

I am getting the above message every time I try to use Help functions in any
of the Office 2007 applications. Naturally, I would like Help to work.
I am using Office 2007 Professionals on Windows Vista. The system was
purchased earlier this year and came with a trial version of Office Home and
Student installed. I uninstalled this; there was no noticeable effect on the
error....

I can still use the mouse in adobe and other applications.

Scroll Bar is gone
A week ago or so when I was working on a word program, something happened and
the scroll bar is now gone! I am stumped on this one. The scroll bar is ok

Can't open Word doc through Windows Explorer
The secretary at our church is used to opening up her document folder
and clicking on the files to open them. After performing a backup the
other day, she is no longer able to do this with her Word documents.
Now she just gets an hour glass and Windows Explorer appears to hang.
You can hit the close 'x' a couple of times and finally you will get

booklet does not print
I created an 8-page booklet in Word with Multiple Pages: Reverse Book Fold
and Pages in Booklet: Auto. When I try to print (HP930) with Manual Duplex,
it prints only one sheet with only page 5, then tells me to put output sheets
in input tray. When I do that it prints pages 4 and 5 on the other side of
the sheet with page 5 [yes, that's right, it prints page 5 twice], and then

Corrupted Word docs
I run Office 2003. Following a recent update I found that all my old word
docs had been corrupted and could in part only be viewed in notebook. Any

In Word, icon randomly appears
When typing along in Word 2007, an icon will pop up that has a circle in the
middle and arrows pointing up and down around the circle. When that happens
it will skip way down on or up on my paper.
Happens a lot when typing multiple-page papers.

I have Vista Ultimate with Office 2003 and MS CRM. I have been using this
laptop for many months and never had any issue with office. We have just

Office works only in safe mode but reinstall doesn't solve problem
Sometimes Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook) get corrupted and can
only start in safe mode. I try to uninstall and then reinstall office from
the original disk but the problem is not solved. The only thing I could do to
solve the problem is reformat or restore ghost....

Every ther sentence is bold...
I am using office professional 2k. I printed a document today and every
other sentence was bold faced even though I didn't activate the bold while
writting the doc. Uninstalled MS Office and re-installed it as a last
resort still the same problem. Tried typing a sample doc with the same
result every other sentence is bold and when the cursor is in / on that

docx file association not pointed to word 2007
I have a user whose word 2007 creates docx files just fine and dandy. IF you
use the Open button from within word. But if she goes in through windows
explorer and double clicks the file icon, it insists on opening the file in
wordpad. I tried right-click and open with, browse to office12\winword.exe,

Word 2003 not saving / overwriting
Sometime after October 24, 2008 my Word 2003 will not save and overwrite a
file to the hard disk. It will do it to a flash drive, but not disk. Also, I
can use "save as" to save a new file, but it will not allowing any
overwriting. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Clips Online
Got this weird problem.
When I try accessing Clips Online I get sent to "My documents"
i.e.
When clicking "Insert" > "Image"(hmm, using Swedish MS Word so the exact
"labels" may differ, but you get what I mean) > "ClipArt..." and then
clicking "Clips Online"
Got an account in a domain. The problem appears when I log on some
computers, however, the problem does not...
