How to track the right click on the mail item???
Hi gurus,
I am developing the outlook addin for OL2000 and facing the problem...
When i right click on the mail item i want to add the come menu's in the
context menu in it ...but when i add the menu in to it..it still visible on
right clicking on the folder of the outlook bar pane...how can add/reset the
context menu's.
Help apreciated..

Groove 2007 connect to Outlook 2007 both betas
Is there a way to link to outlook so that I can share my outlook files,
calendar and contacts with others in groove? There is no button, link or
add-in apparent within Outlook or Groove for that matter permitts this.
(please redirect me if I'm in the wrong space, thanks).

saving to User Created contact folders
This is code from my UO in Powerbuilder.
Everything works fine except for the last line. If the client is using
a Personal folder which they created such as ls_folder = "MYContacts"
I know this isn't a Powerbuilder group but was hoping for some help
with the folder items in Outlook.
If they are using the Default folder or a User Created folder in the
Public Folders the code below works fine....

Questioning Reply to all usign C#
Hello,
I am trying to adapt the code provided here

addin file not valid
I am running Office Outlook XP. When I start the application I get the pop up
message "c:\ ...\Application Data\Microsoft\Addins\wfoladdin.dll is not a
valis Office add-in".
I have been into Tools and removed Com addins...but seems this file is still
being called up at startup.
How do I stop this message?...

Publishing wizard not available
I am using VS2005 and have created a shared add-in project. I can't find the
publish wizard. Everything I have read says it should be availible but it
isn't on any of the menus. We have 4 programmers in our shop and none of them
have it available.
If I create and normal windows app, it shows up but not if I do a add-in.
Can someone please tell me why?

.pst removal from my calender
Hi all,
I have a problem I imported a large .pst file to my outlook calender
(10 years long pst)
and did not createt a backup prior to it.
Now I want to remove it :-) any ideas ?

Very Odd Behavior - Outlook 2003 AddIn with a Form

Way to Check Email every 30 seconds? Why Outlook cant do this?
Hello
i m in need of a way to check email every 10 seconds automatically --
and download it to the mailbox automatically , outlook express does
this but lowest time is 1 minute,

How to get reminder Event form outlook using VC++
hi
I am trying to access outlook using VC ++, i have succeeded in adding
reminder and getting contact list but i was unable to get reminder from
outlook.The class ApplicationEvents does this this functionalty and
also has method as

Outlook developing with Vb.Net
I have been doing Outlook addin developing with VB 6 for a while and am
considering making the move to VB.Net.
I had a look at MicroEye but would appreciate some answers to the following.
I have a few questions that will hopefully get me started in the right
direction.

Problem wrapping unicode PST
I have a profile configured with exchange as the default message store, an
instance of a unicode pst (Personal Folders) and an instance of a wrapped
unicode pst (Steve Griffin's code). All three seem to work fine using
unicode. I can change the default email delivery location from the exchange

Including signature in email created with Add-In

Backing up passworded folders
I just learned about the abililty to password-protect my .pst folders, which
I promptly did. I've been using the backup program for over a year now with
great success, but since I put on the password, I now get a message
saying there are no .pst folders open. Do I have to change another setting
somewhere? Thanx....

Accessing Shared Tasks' Data

I am using outlook 2003 with exchange, and in my outlook I have setup access
to other users Shared Tasks.

computer crash when retreiving outlook messages
Occasionally when I retreive messages through outlook 2003 the computer
crashes. a loud beep and it goes off. I uninstalled the outlook program.
There was an error with the sql server so I uninstalled it too. Reinstalled
outlook and the business manager and it happened again. I am using a Dell
Inspiron 9300 running XP Home. Help, I don't want to have to reinstall the

push button on outlook toolbar inserts text to email
I am tired of typing in the same text over and over. I want to be able
to click "reply" and then a button will appear called "common text 1"
that I click, and it inserts the text into the email. Then I click
send.
I have found several utilities costng $100 and would like to find a
free one. Is there one?

Adding Contacts When Replying
I am using OL2003 and I do not seem to be able to figure out how to add
senders' email addresses to my contact list or address book when I reply to
their message.
Other than MapiLab, are there any other good Add-Ins or Third Party
Utilities that will automatically add senders to my contact list or address
book when I reply to their message?

Unicode characters in Folder's name
I try to create a simple addin for Outlook 2002 that create a new
folder which name contains unicode characters, with some characters it
just throw an exception, with others it just show question character
instead '?', and other work fine (like greek letters).
It's possible to use unicode characters in folder's name? Is there an
additional requirement for Outlook?

Exception, error retrieving COM class factory...
I hvae installed my add-in on several PC's (4) with no problems (after
remembering to install vstor.exe) but now a user gets this exception in
my addin:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID
{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following
error: 8007007e
The CLSID is in his registry and I can't figure out what/why this
happens any one wise out ther...
