Outlook insists on being default email client
Installed Outlook 2003 (11.8217.8221 SP3) a week ago for the Calendar

mail client; however, whenever I run Outlook (Calendar) it insists on setting
itself as the default mail client. The check box in Tools/Options/Other is

This is a chronic problem with me when I travel and attempt to use either

seems to be a primary source of problems. Sometimes I can work it out while
discussing it with whoever the ISP happens to be in the area I'm visiting,
especially if it's a wireless connection. The solutions each time, if any,

wasn't too worried... However, there is a MS bug that prevents it actually
functioning properly (SO DO NOT EVER RELY ON IT!!!)
As a result, I have had to unzip all the compressed outlook files that were
