Can not Import Old Outlook Email files and folders
I have a new PC with Office 2003 and Outlook 2003 on it. I backed up all my
old email files to a .pst file and when I go to import it, I can not find the
Import Feature listed under "File" as before.
How do I download and get all my old emails, contacts, folders, etc. on to
my new PC>...

Computer Restored - Did I lose my inbox?
Hello,
I recently had to restore my computer due to an Anti-Virus software that
hosed up my system... GO FIGURE!!
When I did, I lost my entire inbox, which had a ton of info.
To make matters worse, I couldn't find my original MS Office Licensing
package, so I ended up Installing 2007 Trial Version.
Is there any way to find and restore my inbox as it was in Ver 2003 prior to

i can't open up attachments sent thru email-Example pictures
yesterday I was able to open up emails that had attachements(pictures) and
when I went to open them up tday I get an error reading Application Not

Recovering Outlook 2003 after a complete reformat
I still have many PC customers using Windows XP and Office 2003 (using
Outlook). From time to time, when a computer is three to four years old, the
only way to restore the computer to "like-new" operating condition is to
reformat the hard drive and reinstall everything from scratch.
Of course, I take a complete image of the entire system before reformatting.

Configure email accounts
My PC crashed so I had to recover it. Have installed Office 2003 and Outlook
is not lettign me set up the accounts. When I go tools>email accounts I get
"the operation failed due to registry or instalation problems" Have used the

Outlook Hyperlinks and 3rd Party Web Browsers
I had a problem with a 3rd party browser called Maxthon. When I
uninstalled it I began having problems opening hyperlinks in my Outlook.
I was unable to fix it by making IE the default program, and further more
the add programs was "greyed out" and I could not change them.

Cannot follow a link, all else OK
I installed the Beta 2007 Office Professional. I have had success with
virtually everything, however, in Outlook, although I can tell the software
is connecting to the internet because I get new emails--and I can click on
the email and it opens up--, if I get an email from say Dell, advertising

Error messages starting outlook 2007
My question is about Communicator, but I'm not sure if I can get help here.
I installed Communicator 2007 trial in XP Pro, just the trial, then
uninstalled it after it would not work with a hosted exchange account. Upon

How can I add notes in Outlook today
In my Outlook 2007, in the Outlook Today (my starting page where I can see a
summary of Calendar, Tasks, and Messages). I would also like to be able to
write notes on this page. When I go to "Customize Outlook Today", it only
allows me to display Calendar, Tasks and Message...

Where is Outlook?
I upgraded an Office 2007 Professional Trial version using a product key
purchased online. Excel 2007, Access 2007, Ppoint 2007 & Publisher 2007 all
work fine, but Outlook 2007 isn't there?
How do I get it? If I search for Outlook all the results are for my existing

how do I uninstall microsoft office outlook connect?
The executable file ccSvcHst.exe is taking up tons of memory. I read on the
Symantec Web site that it is a known problem between the Norton Add-On
software and the Outlook Connect software, but they don't have a fix for it
now. It said that a temporary fix is to uninstall one of the software

Outlook 2002 & Vista
I have been using Outlook 2002 on my laptop running xp for some time. I've
often copied my data file (Outlook.pst) from my laptop to a desktop also

MAPI32.DLL corrupt in Vista
I have a brand new Acer with preloaded testversion of Office 2007 which i do
not want. Bought Office 2003. Tried to uninstall 2007 before engaging it.

Problem installing outlook 2003
Hi All,
Using Windows xp 64 bits.
Trying to install outlook 2003 to work with enhance server which is in a
small business server, and I get the following message: You cannot open a
new user account, and you must used the control panel with the Mail icon to
do so .
The problem is that I don't have the mail Icon in the Control Panel.

wav files continue to transmit in Vista

I downloaded Avast anti-virus and now I can no longer use Outlook
Outlook says it is in collision with another program and therefore can't work.
