I'v installed SBS2003 Premium and have installed the fax services. I can
print to the fax at the server and from client machines without problem.
However I cannot fax from outlook or outlook web access using the fax:tel

I keep getting told that the contact does not exist and that I could either

Print multiple documents from fax console?
Hello:
I am using the Windows Shared Fax Service. My fax server is Windows
2003 SBS and my client machine is Windows XP.
I have a bunch of faxes in my outgoing fax queue. I can see them in
Fax Console in the Outbox.
I can print them one at a time to my printer, but is there a way to
select multiple of them and print the batch? When I select more than
one, the print option is greyed...

Archived faxes..where are they?
Hi, could someone tell me where "sent faxes" are stored? I'm having a
problem with the fax service so I uninstalled it through add windows
components and then reinstalled it. I'm assuming that the old sent and
received faxes were stored in a default folder in C:/documents and
settings...etc...etc and that they can be retrieved. Hope I was right.
Thanks

Outlook Not Responding when Fax received
For some of my users, Outlook goes to the Not Responding state as soon as a
fax is received in the users Inbox. This is not an issue related to the
users mailbox because I deleted\recreated the mailbox and the problem
persists. It is not affecting all users who fax through Outlook, only a few.
Is there any reason why Outlook would lock up? I am stuck and cant seem to
pinpoint the pro...

Outlook - Faxing of Attachments & Email
G'Day!
I've got a Genifax Server configured to work in hand with a few
clients, who can send outbound faxes via Outlook 2k or 2k3. They can
attach a document or file in the email, and the server will scan and
deliver it to the target fax machine, specified in the email.
Unfortunately, if they type anything in the email besides just an
attachment.. the following happens:
The first pag...

Speeding up faxing of image attachments
Hi
We are using Outlook 2000 with Windows XP Fax very successfully for passing
e-mails to fax recipients.
Sometimes the e-mails have large image file attachments which tie up the fax
line for a long time, sometimes to the point where we give up, cancel the
transmission and drop the printed image into the fax machine. A recent
example took nearly 30 minutes to send one page before fa...

Fax and Outlook for XP
I used to have an old PC running Windows '98 with Outlook '97 and Microsoft
Fax - it was great, very easy to use as both faxes and emails would be
displayed in the same place. I've just upgraded to a new PC with XP. I can
load Outlook '97 but can't use Windows Messaging and so can't use Microsoft
Fax or send/receive emails.
1) Is there a version of Messaging for Windows XP?
2) Is it co...

Change default to NO cover page?
Every time I use Microsoft's "Send Fax Wizard" I get to the part where it
asks if I want to use a cover page, and it has already selected Yes as a
default. I never want to use their cover page, so I always have to manually
un-check that box.
Is there some way I can change the Fax Wizard's default to NOT send a cover
page?
