How-To Document for BCM/MOA 2007 Invoicing
Hi... I am looking for a How-To document on how to create and turn
appointments in OL 2007/BCM 2007 (w/ Office 2007) into invoices within MOA
Pro 2007 (billable time).

Outlook restarts opening or creating new Account, Opportunity, etc
Hi, I have a new installed laptop with Vista and Office Enterprise 2007. I
installed Outlook with Business Contact Manager. I imported Contacts and
Accounts from BCM 2003. I never tested BCM 2007 before importing the data.
When I try to edit or create a new Account, Opportunity or Business Projects
I get the following error:

Unbelievably slow, can't work like this...
I'm running 2G Ram on a Dual Core 1.8something or other. My Outlook database
is a synchronized OST file with Exchange 2003 Server and my Business contact
Manager database is a local database on my laptop.
OS: Windows Vista Business 32-Bit

Disconnect of BCM withPST Files
I have had to rebuild my PC and in the process I transferred all my PST files
for Outlook 2003 as well as a backup of Business Contact Manager (BCM) to the
new HDD, so as not to lose history. However all the records in the BCM are
now simply records of items and do not open the actual items when I select
(double click) them. Items added after the move open as normal. What do I
have to do...

BCM 2007 over VPN
Hi, I am trying to connect to my BCM database from my computer at home.
I connect to the server using VPN.
I can see the BCM database when connecting to a shared database, but when
connecting to it, it can't find a user account for me. I guess this user
account is my "Workgroup" account on my home PC rather than the
domain\username and password I use to access the VPN Server.

What Pocket PC works with Business Contact Mgr?
We are looking for Pocket PC's that can use the Microsoft Business Contact
for PocketPc. I installed it on my Motorola Q and it has windows mobile 5.0
and this software is only compatible with what I read Windows 2003 mobile.

Linking account numbers in BCM to customer ID in MSOAP07
When I create a new account in BCM wouldn't that account be automatically
created in MSOAP07? Thus MSOAP07 giving the new account a customer ID? Also,
for accounts that are already existing in MSOAP07 with a customer ID, why
doesn't the customer ID show up as an account number in BCM?...

printing a catalog of business cards
I am making a church directory using Outlook 2007. I have all the data
required for the directory. However, how do I address the picture on each
business card so that I can include it in a mail/merge to make a catalog of

send marketing campaign
When I send a message to a campaign list, the messages go from my outbox to
my large mail box but it doesn't really get sent even though it says it's
been sent. Am I doing something wrong? Am I a bad person? Is this unusual?
Can I fix this somehow?...

How to restrict users of a shared bcm db
When new sales guys start we only want them to see their leads, not the full
BCM db. Also we want to prevent them from using the Offline db and export
features to keep them from quitting and stealing the data. Is there any way
to impose these types of restrictions by user? Our db is on our SBS SQL2005
server.

Add new phone log problem
On incomming call i search bussines contact connected with phone number and I
display searched contact. Next I create new phone log connected with this
business contact save it and display to user. The problem is that phone log
form displays with most of field read only. Second issue is that form han an
icon like journal item but all form looks like phone log form BCM.

Global Updated Account User Defined Field in Business Contact Mana
I created a user defined field to be used in my accounts. Is there a way that
I can globally update this field or do I have to update each account
individually. I have hundreds of accounts so I would rather global update the
field based on parameters I set. Any ideas?...

Contact Names in Business Contact Manager
I would like to file my business contacts under their business name (example:
Starbucks) but Outlook only allows for a "Full Name" (first, middle, last).
I have tried saving the complete business name as a last name (leaving the
first and middle name boxes empty). This works sometimes, however when I
move my contacts to a new computer Outlook automatically gives these

changes in accounting do not change in business contacts
Can you help? When I enter contact changes in accounting it will change in
the account section of out look,BUT IT WILL NOT CHANGE IN THE CONTACT MANAGER,
IF I add a new contact it will not show up inthe business contact nor is
there a prompt to do with that information , I am use accounting 2007 and out
look bcm 2007.

How to get activities to show in Contacts in Outlook 2007?
I'm brand new to Outlook 2007. Had Outlook 2002 before. Have tracked a lot of
"activities in 2002 that I'd like to get to show up either in
Contacts/Activities or Business Contacts/History. I know there's a setup

Business Telephone Numbers
Is it possible to change the 'names' of the fields for business telephone
numbers. Instead of Business 1 and Business 2 I would like to have
Switchboard and Direct Line.

Advanced filter "value field" not available
We are using BCM release 3.00.5028.00 for Office Outlook 2007 in Italian
language. When we choose to build a Search Folder and tab to Advanced, the
field which should contain matching values is missing! The only possibility
in order to filter is to use empty or not emtpy because those operators do
not need any input in that field. Does anybody has an answer??...
