Is there a variable fee
Is there a way to set up a variable fee with accounting. With my work I
make a percentage of what I offer not a set price, so would like the account
to automatically calculate the percentage of the money I receive. Is that
possible? I use office accounting express.

Trouble installing Outlook with Business Contact Manager
I currently have Office 2007 Enterprise running, then I found out how useful
BCM is so I got a copy of that and intend to install it into my computer.
Trouble is I have tried that all day but without success.
I don't think I have problem with SQL, the installation went through the

BCM 2007 and MS Word 2007
I just imported my ACT database, but can't figure out how to write letters to
a BCM contact or create MS Word templates for use with BCM contacts. This is
very simple to do in ACT and am hoping it simple in BCM also. I've clicked
on help in BCM, but can't find the answers.
Can anyone help me?

Show Groups Collapsed, Not Expanded, by default
For my business contacts, using the [By Category] view as the current view,
when I click this it opens up with all groups expanded, by default. Is there
a way to set it up so that when I open it, all groups are collapsed by
default?

BCM 2007 unresponsive refresh every 5-10 seconds

BCM database residing on a SBS 2003 server (dual HT Xeons, 4 GB of RAM) with

Need more options for integrating accounting with outlook contact
Problem: MS Accounting only integrates to Business Contact Manager under
"Accounts". "Accounts" don’t sync to a PDA.
Suggestion: Allow options to integrate Accounting to either "Accounts" or
"Business Contacts" in Business Contact Manager.
And/or Allow Accounts to be synced to a PDA.

Mapping 2007 import fields -- Help
In 2007 the list of fields to import into do NOT have a Street 2 for a multi
line address. To what do you map the second address Line.
When mapped to PO Box...it does not show up anywhere.
When mapped to Business Address...it does not show up anywhere.
Where Should those be displayed? And, how do you get a second address line

Cannot retreive and/or select data from MSBusinessContact Manager.
I have had a system crash. After re-installation of outlook2007 and
business Contact Manager2007, After restoration, I cannot select
MsBusinessContactManager wihch has my business contact data. I only have the
option of selecting or creating mssmallbusiness.
Can anyone explain to me why this is happening.

How is Outlook 2007 BCM?
My company is looking at switching from Goldmine version 4.0 to Outlook 2007
with BCM. We have Small Business Server 2003. We want to share business
contacts with other users. We have 6 employees, 3 in sales and 3 in back
office support. The 3 salespeople would use it extensively, while the 3 in
back office support maybe a few times a day.

The object does not support this method.
I get this message when new e-mails come in and the message does not download
fully. Closing and reopening Outlook seems to work but, thats just
rediculous. Please help.

Business Contact Manager database shared on SQL 2000
I installed BCM 2003 on on XP computer, shared it and then copied it to our
SQL 2000 server. I enable dnamed pipes and TCP/IP to use port 56183.
However, when I try to connect my users to the database they can not locate
any databases on our server. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated....

How do I set up a main DB that remote users can Sync to?
I"m looking for some help in how to set up a DB that 3-4 users can connect to
and syncronize data. I'm not entirely sure if we will be overwriting each

Conect BCM 2007 with a 2003 database
Hi, i am having a validation problem when trying to fin the 2003 BCM
database. I have Office 2007 on my new laptop but the company works with
office 2003. How can i log into that database? It always provides a
validation error saying that my user does not have the same password in my
machine than in the computer that works like a server.

Outlook 2007 w/BCM, Newsgroups
I now understant Microsoft Mail is the client for Newsgroups. Would like to
cinfigure a link within Outlook 2007 Vista that will automatically open
Microsoft Mail in the Newgroups window. I've tried to customize the Go menu
but can't find the News instruction.

Is there any possible way for modifing field names in BCM? I know how to
create/modify fields on all existing pages (general, details, history).
For example, there are many fields in Details Page which are not necessary

For Those that Want to Mail Merge BCM
I've tried replying to several messages - but some sort of problem - hence
new post.
If your referring to mail merge, you cannot start this from BCM - you have
to start in Word 2007. Open Word, select Mailings, select Start Mail Marge
and select the type you want, then Select Recipients - pick Select from
Outlook contacts...this will then give you the choice of Accounts, Business
