BCM / Office Accounting integration next version suggestion
If BCM truly was FULLY "integrated" with Office Accounting, a user would be
able to:
1) Directly cross relate a Business Contact record (PERSON) over to
Accounting's Customer record for sharing of Receivables data. Currently,
only the Account record (ORGANIZATION) can do this.
2) Directly cross relate either a Business Contact record (PERSON) or an
Account record (ORGANIZATION) over to...

restore database from mdf / ldf files
We upgraded 2 machines on our network from 2003 to 2007. I need to revert
back to 2003. The CEO is totally upset about this. We cannot use our BCM
right now. It said it made a backup of the bcm, which for the life of me I
cannot find. I have backups of the mdf and ldf files. I called msft and
they told me to stop the mscontactmanagersmbiz service copy the files in the

Link Contact to Multiple Accounts
In MS Business Contact Manager 2003 you could not link a contact to
more than one account. I thought that in 2007 they would fix this
limiting and stupid design, but it is still present. Why is it
designed like this, and is there anyway to fix it without having to go
through some multi-step work around each time I link a contact. This
is critical for my business. Let me give you an examp...

Record Count for BCM
This may be really simple but I can't find how to get a record count in

If I make a report, for example, and want to know how many contacts are in

Is there some feature where you just highlight the column and it displays
the total number of records?
Thx....

File Attachments in BCM 2007 Accounts
We use BCM 2003 and love it. I see in BCM 2007 that files (I'm assuming Word
docs, .pdfs, .wav, etc) can be attached to contacts (and accounts?). What
limitations (file sizes, types, max capacity) are there? We're looking to
save and share proposals, contracts, conversations, pdfs etc. in the account.
Tips? Hints? Gotchas? Thanks for your help!...
