Group e-mailing
How do you send an e-mail to a group (list of people) without the recipient's
names appearing on the e-mail? I have received numerous e-mails and the
recipiet's names appear as "undisclosed recipients"

Sharing BCM DB located on a XP pc with a user on a Vista pc
I have setup a BCM database on my pc running Windows XP and Outlook 2007.
When I share this database with another XP pc running Outlook 2007 I have no
problems. I am now trying to share the database with a pc running Windows
Vista and Outlook 2007. When I am on the Vista pc attempting to connect to my
computer I recieve a message informing me to enter passwords. While sharing

improving speed of Microsoft office 2007
I'm using Microsoft office 2007 enterprise with Outlook with business contact
manager on a high-end Dell laptop...
I'm frustrated with how painfully slow Outlook is particularly when you're
opening it. It takes several minutes on a high-end Dell laptop with plenty
of RAM etc. is there any way to speed up Outlook? For example I archived
many of the e-mails thinking that might help but h...

Sync contacts
Hi People,
I am now using BCM for the first time and have all my outlook contacts as
Business contacts.
Now when i sync my iphone my new business contacts I have added don't
transfer over to my phone?
Any ideas?

BCM IN-HOUSE HELP
We need someone to come in & kind of give us a "BCM" Bootcamp- we're
struggling to organize the contacts from Outlook, create fields to narrow

BCM 2008 Project task time stamp and reminders not sticking
Sometimes when adding time stamp and typed in information in a project task I
can save and close after setting up a reminder for a later date and re-open
to find none of my information has been saved AND the reminder is not set
either. This has happened more than once and it has been saved.

I bought Outlook 2007with BCM for mt home office PC and would like to share
the data with my laptop. Do I need to buy a second copy of Outlook 2007 with
BCM for the laptop? I know sharing the DB is provided for, but sharing the
program?...

Insert Tab Missing
I am using Outlook 2007 with BCM. I am missing the "insert tab" when I open
up or start a new contact (in both BCM and Outlook). MS support is telling
me this is a know bug and that everyone has this problem. I had the insert
tab in Outlook 2007 before I installed BCM.
I would appreciate it if you would post if you have the insert tab for a
contact in either BCM or Outlook 2007.

loggin and syncing
if you need to have call logging and sync to outlook from a cell phone, take
all traces of outlook/bus mgr off the pc (and the registery) and install
outlook 97. in the tools, option, there are boxes to check, check the
call/phone box. This is Awesome, you can be at your pc, and it will bring up
the incoming call ready to take notes on the call. You can dial from outlook
thru your cell. ...

CELL PHONE AND BUSINESS MGR
IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING, once you install business manager on cell, you then
have to make the call thru business mgr to get it to log the call. How are
the incoming calls handled.
Now how is this going to work with California going hands free, to get in
bus mgr to make a call?
does business manager 2007 still not sync with the cell for logging?...

Using a cell phone instead of a land line?
Is there any software or hardware that will allow Outlook to dial the cell
phone(Windows Mobile 5.0) like it dials a land line. I would like to be able
to take advantage of call logging and the journal. Voice quality and
consistency is a priority.
Skype and others like it are ok for friends but not to call clients....

do I have this correct
On the cell phone, windows based cell, to have calls log, you have to do
another step and go into bus contacts then make your call (more steps, yuck).
have a double set of contacts on your cell bus contacts and outllook
contacts, eating memory, YUCK.
does it log all incoming and outgoing calls and sync to Bus contacts for the
cell?

Need to create sub-folders in BCM 2007
I need to create a Task Folder in the BCM folder, but I can't. I confirmed
this with Microsoft Tech Support that it's not possible.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who needs to do this.
Please BCM team update BCM 2007 to do this....

How do I make a Busines Contact into an Account?
I am justy setting up my Outlook 2007 BCM for the first time. It's not clear
to me whether my numerous customers and potential customers should be
imported as Accounts or Business Contacts. If I import them as Business
Contacts, can I then convert them to Accounts (replete with User-Defined
fields) if they change from leads to active customers? ...

How to get caller id when using Business Contact Manager
How do I get my mobile phone (Pocket PC) to display a caller ID when the
contact is listed in the Business Contact Manager? When the contact was just

automatic auto-linking for all Contacts in Shared db?
Using Outlook 2007 w/bcm, 6 users sharing a SQL 2005 BCM db:
We want all emails to/from all users to be included in the histories for all
BCM contacts, so we have told all users to turn on auto-linking for their
Inbox and Sent Items folders, and to select all BCM contact email addresses

Record sizing problem using BCM 2007
When I open any data record in BCM I maximize the size to full screen viewing.
Sometimes this setting remains with all fields (Comments or History fields)
staying in proportional full size. After a few closings, these fields revert
back to their minimized size eventhough I have still have the record in a
maximized viewing. This results in a smaller viewing space for the displayed
text field...

Sync Regular Contacts w/ Business Contacts in 2007
Has the following issue been updated and now possible in 2007 Outlook
w/ BCM? (see old post below)
It is a critical flaw in the functionality! To be able to sync into
Pocket PC caller ID contacts and have an ability to sync business and
regular contacts within outlook, instead of editting each

BCM and Quickbooks Contact Sync
I am trying to use the Quickbooks Contact Sync (2007 Pro) to exchange
names between Quickbooks Customers and Business Contacts of BCM.
I have installed and setup the Quickbooks Contact Sync, and it allows
me to choose the Business Contacts contact folder. But when I click

no BCM with Pro '07
1. I attended the college campus Launch 2007
2. I was given a launch kit for Vista Business/Office Pro. I was told just
to install Office from the disk, only 1 disk was there.
3 The installation worked perfectly, except I cannot "see" BCM
4. My Question: How do I install BCM. I do not have a "second disk".
