Opening Vista Outlook in Outlook for XP
Have just installed Outlook in XP, but find that I can't open mail sent in
Outlook from a site using Vista. It should be possible. What am I doing
wrong? Presumably some settings need altering somewhere.
I assume it is not possible to open Outlook in Outlook Express, or is it?

Two Users, same computer
I have one user set up on the parent computer, and another on a separate PC
in my workgroup. Both can see the database and are linked to Office
Accounting Pro.
However, when i try to setup a second user on the parent PC I do not see the
BCM database. What's the trick here?

Any way to put the BCM toolbar in the taskbar (outside Outlook?)
I am using BCM witr Outlook 2003 and would like to be able to have a shortcut
button so that I can quickly record a phone note or something without going
all the way into outlook. I am able to do this with normal Outlook items, but
not BCm. The best I can do is to get a new record to come up, but the phone
log will not let me type anything, and a business note crashes outlook upon

Problem with creating offline database.
We have a portable PC (Vista Business) user who has been using BCM fine for
many months now (installed Jan 2008) with the BCM database located on SQL2005
server runnng on Server 2003. This server only runs SQL2005 for BCM. They
have been able to replicate the BCM database locally onto their PC for when
they are out of the office and via VPN trouble free since installation.

indexing in mailmerge
I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003 when i am using mailmerge or using
categorise list I can't find alphabetical order of full names. When i am

Can you share databases long distances?
We have 5 sales people scattered across the country, with 2 people overseeing
our work. Is there anyway to keep the databases sycronized from our
perspective locations? The 2 overseeing people would just want a birds eye
view of emails log, not to get involved, just to monitor. And if so, can the
customized fields in Opportunites, accounts and business Contact information

Update failure
I have a new laptop with Outlook 07 with BCM and the problem I have is that
Service Pack 2 fails to install ... repeatitly.
I have tried contacting Microsoft about the update but they were of
absoulutely no help. Doing emails every two days isn't going cut it as far
as help goes.

Cannot open BCM home page
I have installed OL2007 w/BCM (XP). The BCM button does not appear in the
tool bar. I can actually see that BCM is installed because Business Contacts
as well as Accounts are visible. However, when I try to access MCB home page,
it gives me an error message.(BCM for Outlook could not complete your last
action or actions) The page is open but it does not have any contents and

BCM takes up more than 768MB mem but cannot edit with sqlmgmt stud

Configure BCM Everytime I Open OL 2007
I recently migrated from Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager on an XP
OS to Outlook 2007 with BCM on a new computer running Vista Home Premium.
Every time I start OL 2007 I get the message "Outlook cannot complete your
last action..." and then must "Configure" BCM by selecting the database I

Outlook 2007 BCM email/flickering issue
I can't find an answer or even anyone else who will admit to having this
issue. I enabled email auto linking for all my sales contacts. Now when I
have the BCM contacts window open it flickers something fierce and is
actually making me nauseous. Performance is also very slow now. I disabled

Why does outlook remain active after closing ?
After closing outlook and I try to reopen nothing happens. I looked at trask
manager and outlook is still runinng old instance and now the new one which
did ot open. So there are 3 files in task manager 2 which are 3K + in size
and one large one 40-50 K. Any Idea how I can stop this from occuring. The
only fix I have found to to end each outlook process in task manager.

I don't understand how to allow remote access to the database

BCM customisation
I somehow found a way to add an additional tab onto a clients records and
load fields and recordable data. However I want to be able that add that tab
with data fields to every client as a template, so that it automatically
shows even on new clients being added. Is it possible generically and if so
how do we do it.

Sharing BCM data on my laptop
This is a repeat of a post which has gone missing. In order to share my

recurring error messages
At seemingly random times when I have Outlook 2003 open, multiple instances
of a message box pop up, with title: "Business Contact Manager", and text:
