Project Task stuck in drafts
I have one stuck in personal folders/drafts. I have tried saving, deleting
and most things that are obvious. What folders are they stored in. Maybe I
can delete directly from their.

Windows Search Protocol Host has encountered a problem
I saw a few questions on the above-mentioned subject where others were also
getting this error dialog box, and only saw one suggestion for fixing,
(running Microsoft Outlook as the Administrator) which I did, but it didn't
work. Can anyone offer any other suggestions/fixes? This is really annoying.

Entering a New Business Account
When I open up Contacts in BCM, I see a custom table that I setup. The first
line of the table is empty but says "click here to add a new business
contact". I like this idea as it is a quick way to add and edit contacts.
However, my question is this. Can someone please tell me how to do this with
my accounts. I need to uncheck all of the "active" checkbox fields of all of
my account...

Can't install BCM for Outlook 2007
Office Small Business 2007 package. New laptop computer (Dell 1535 bought
from Best Buy, they didn't have Office Small Business package in stock. Went
next door to Office Depot to buy it.) With the hated VISTA operating system.
I have successfully installed CD1 - the main office suite, but I can't
install CD2 - BCM. Reading the log file from the end - "MainEngineThread is
returning 1603"...

BCM in trial version
I just install trial version of Microsoft Office Professional 2007, to check
how BCM in MS Outlook works. Apparently polish trial version doesn't have
BCM. Is it possible to get trial version with BCM (polish version of course)?...

Importing Data GUID
Hi
when trying to import BCM data file teh following message appears.
[Error] Could not find value stringfor pick list 'Assigned to User' with
value guid '5c54ec07-dc80-4f38-ae8b-cf4465ed6938'. Setting pick list value to
empty.
This error is depleting my Data of approximately 1100 entries.
Please Help

attach a campaign (seminar) to contacts
I've created a campaign, in this case a seminar. For the contacts that
attended, I want to attach the campaign to their history, but "campaign" is
not an option in the "add history item" pulldown list. I know that I can use
"initiated by" to select seminar and then the specific campaign, but this
overwrites the already entered "initiated by" and destroys the CRM principle

Can't uninstall Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 SP1
My computer came with the trial version of Microsoft Office Professional 2007
installed, but since it was only a trial and I already had Home and Student
version, I uninstalled Professional and installed Home and Student.

how to search for info in 'notes' boxes of Contact?
In Outlook 2003 I want to do bulk or mass searches of Notes same as I now
search for names or e-dresses. As I add new contacts I enter their product
category in the notes box at lower right. I want then to be able to go to
FIND, enter, say, WIDGETS, and get display of all manufacturers of WIDGETS. ...

Report printing - comments are not fully printed
When I print the report "activity by opportunity" and modify the report to
include comments, the comments are there. But when I print the report, the
comments are cut off, not complete, and do not "wrap" to fit the print area
of the report.
Any sugguestions to correct this problem?...

New Reports
The answer probably is NO. Can I make a totally new report. in BCM The
templates are close but not one give me the info I need. The one that is
closest is the account activity report. It lack one key thing. The ability to
add comments to the fiels.

Cannot Share Database

I've been trying for hours to get my database shared but I keep getting the

I am currently using BCM2003 on XP 32. I just got a new computer with
Vista64. Will my current Office2003/BCM2003 work on this new computer? If

Convert Act 9.0 to BCM
Hi,
Need some help with conversion. I have SP1 of BCM. On the contacts
conversion it starts the conversion of BCM file exported by wizard. It gets
to around record 466 of 853 and has a problem. BCM only shows 466 records.
The error long is 45 pages. How do I go forward?

Tracking the history of Sales Stages
Not sure how other users feel about this, but we feel that it would be great
if BCM would track the user and date of any change made to the Sales Stage.
This would also be true in cases where an opportunity drops back a Sales
Stage. Of course this information would not be useful particularly without

BCM2003 and CRM compatibility
I have been using BCM2003 for several years now on XP32. For the most part I
have been happy with BCM and I have a lot of data that I don't want to throw
away. My company recently signed up for CRM3.0 and wants me to use it. I
won't go into any great details, but CRM is a very poor substitute (even

BCM 2007
Hello,
I have the following question. Can BCM 2007 be succesfully installed on a
Windows Terminal Server 2003 environment with or without Citrix?
Can't find any documentation for this. Also i would like to know if it is
possible to let BCM 2007 connect to a SQL server during the installation. As
far as i know it always want to install sql express as default.

Business Contact Manager freezes outlook 2007 and has to be disabl
I am running Vista Ultimate with Outlook 2007 when I try to start Outlook it
stops responding and has to be shutdown with Task Manager. I then get a
message saying, "Outlook has experienced a serious problem..." it then
disables BCM and Outlook starts properly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled
BCM but to no avail. Any suggestions?...

Integrating 2007 outlook/bcm with accounting 2008
I cannot get the accounting wizard to integrate with my BCM, when I try the
database drop down is empty and then tells me that I cannot use the wizard.
I have outlook/bcm 2007 with accounting 2008. I am not on a network, just
one computer, the only administrator/owner. Please help....

Call List
I want to do a call list for some of the "prospect" leads I have assembled in
BCM. I note there is a "telemarketing" option when setting up a campaign but
it seems once you select that option all the other controls on the dialog box
are disabled and you can't do any filtering etc. What is the best way to
setup a call list and track who you've called?...
