BCM on Terminal Server
At the moment it isn't posible to install Outlook BCM on a Terminal Server.
This is because BCM relies on the Cache mode wich can't be enabled for users
on a TS system.
Users want to use BCM on a TS.

BCM Add-In
Hi Folks,
Hoping someone can help me... I have Office 2007 Ultimate with BCM installed.
I run these apps on a laptop, and while I'm away I would just prefer to not
have the add-in running in outlook. If the BCM client can not find a server
it leaves outlook.exe running and in memory.
Therefore it helps drain my laptop battery a bit more than I need help with
already.

Integration with Navision C5
Hi there,
I'm rather new to this end of the IT-world. I have read about Navision C5
ver 4.0 supporting integration with BCM and thought that I would give it a
try - but i am without a clue as to where to begin, BCM is running ok
(although with empty database), how do I connect it to my C5 to populate the
database?
3 hours googling has given me zero clues nor answers.

Restoring BCM database
A "Tech" at my work uninstalled MSSQL on my laptop and I lost all my data.
Having a backup from a few days ago made me feel better - but I didn't test
it and once all of BCM was up and running I tried to restore and I get a
popup which reads "Line 1: Incorrect syntax near 'Brien'."
I have the unfortunate luck of my name being O'Brien so I guess it doesn't
like the apostrophe? What to do? ...

Custom forms in BCM
I'm sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place -
I have added custom fields to my contact form and would like to link them to
my calendar and have them calculate some other things. I don't know anything
about programming, but I need to learn in order to make this work. What do I
need to learn and where is the best place to look. Meaning, I know NOTHING

I need to set up or run a phone contact report for specific day.
My clients are all individules, and I need to run daily call reports with
home #' not business #'s. I'm a financial planner and broker and am really

BCM 2007 Causes Outlook to freeze
Business Contact Manager 2007 seems to cause Outlook 2007 to freeze up and
stop working several times per hour. I uninstalled BCM 2007 and the problem
was fixed. Is there any cure or work around for this problem? I would really
like to use Business Contact Manager.

Database creation fails
I've installed the Office 2007 beta fine and the Outlook/BCM too. Starting
Outlook brings up database creation but every attempt fails. It start up the
process (after selecting the express option) but fails with error "Database
creation unsuccessful." Any suggestions?...

Accounts vs Company
Business Contact Manager suggest storing compaines as accounts. However
there is also a company field in the database.
Is there some value to the user in also keeping the company name in the
company field? Other reports? Something?
Having a hard time determining if I should just store each company as an
ACCOUNT.

Please help. I am running all of Office 2003 Professional software including
BCM. When I try to update or enter a new contact, I receive the following
error "Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete your last
action or actions. Please try again".
I have uninstalled and reinstalled BCM.
Please tell me there is a solution.

How do I get the business tool bar to show up in Bus. Cont. Mgr?
I am using Office Professional 2003 and have just recently installed the
Business Contact Manager fo it (2003). I am not able to get the Business
tool bar to show up. I read some past postings that suggested unhooking my
cradle for active sync. That did not help me.
Any other suggestions?...

BCM 2003 and Vista Home Premium
I upgraded from XP to Vista this weekend and reinstalled my copy of MS
Office SBE 2003 with Business Contact Manager. HOwever when I went to
install the BCM it stated there is a known compatibility issue with Vista. I
should contact the manufacturer of the product. Well I can't find anything
on the MS site alluding to the compability issue and if they plan to resolve

Mapping twice
I just mapped an Excel file to BCM 2003. The phone numbers were numeric and
didn't import. Now I want to remap. Do I have to delete all contacts before I
do this or can I simply do the import again. I have a feeling I will end up
with a duplicates and I doubt anything will happen if I set the import to no
duplicates....

Error on install of Outlook 2007 BCM / SQL Server Express: -1073741790
As part of the Installation of the Outlook 2007 BCM install, SQL
Server 2005
Express Edition attempts to install on my computer. The install file
name is "X13-40150.exe". The installation fails with the error
message:

Help in Installing Business Contact Manager!
When installing Business Contact Manager - I get to the Startup Wizard which
requests me to either Create or select a database. I choose the create new
radio button. However - every time, I get a message stating that the
operation failed. I have reinstalled BCM, but nothing changes. I also had
to re-install Outlook previously - and cnage my PST. I am not sure if this
