Migrating Outlook from old laptop to new with PC Mover
I just migrated from one laptop to my new laptop with PC Mover. All went well
except Business Contact Manager does not show up in Outlook. It is installed
but not being seen by Outlook, therefore I cannot access my database. I get

how do I reconnect a bcm database
I foolishly didn't use BCM to backup my database when I was
transfering computers. I have the original mdf and ldf files, but of
course BCM won't recognise them and wants to create a new database.
Is there a way to restore/reattach/reconnect, whatever, these
databases?
I can setup SQL Server if needed.

I've been using Outlook 2007 with BCM for about two weeks now and I've run
into an issue. I was uninstalling some programs today to free up some space,
and decided to uninstall SQL Server 2005 Express as I wasn't using it for

How to publish custom form region - Outlook 2007 w/ BCM
I have designed a custom with a custom form region to use instead of
the provided Account contact form in BCM. How do I publish the form
*with the form region* so that other clients in our domain use this as
well. I can publish the form, but it doesn't bring the form region
along with it.

How to properly categorize business accounts and contacts
Just starting to use BCM 2007 , I have a lot of Dr. clients. (eg. Dr. Joe
Happy) I file them as accounts and anyone within there office is added as an
business contact eg. office manager, receptionist etc...
However, because I have quite a few client I find it difficult to quickly
find them in the address book to insert in word. Must search via Dr. and not
Happy.

BCM 2007 not installed from digital locker download
I bought Office Pro 2007 upgrade from the MS digital locker. One file
(x12-30196.exe) was downloaded and it installed everything except BCM. It is
not listed in add/remove, not listed as an option to install, cannot find it
anywhere. There is no 2nd download in the digital locker as others have said
the trial version has. I don't want a complicated fix, I just want the file

The set of folders cannot be opened. Store not configured.

Personal Folders
I have recently installed Office 2007 on a couple of my office machines. I
have noticed on one maching that it automatically connected to my exchange
server and also created a FULL Personal Folders (Inbox, Contacts, Calendar,
Task, Drafts, etc.); which is great. But when I install Office 07 on other
computers it hook up to exchange; but did not creat a FULL personal folder.

Business Contact Manager Wizard not wanted
How can I stop the Business Contact Manager Wizard starting everytime I load
Outlook 2007. I do not want to load it on my PC. In fact I do not want t at

Accounts with two physical locations
What is the suggested method of dealing with an account, such as a client,
that has more than one address, such as a satellite office? I can put in a
Business, Home, and Other address on the account's contact record, but is
there something more sophisticated than that?...

MAPI was unable to load the information service IrisMS.DLL
Unable to run Outlook 2003 Business Contact Manager when migrating to Office
2007 (Trial)
I get the error: MAPI was unable to load the information service IrisMS.DLL.
I went to the Help | Disable Items and re-enabled the Addin: irisms32.dll
then closed and opened Outlook again. It still gives me the same message.
Is the 2003 BCM incompatable with Office 2007? Will BCM work with Offi...

Create database permission denied
Hi,
I have just installed Vista and Office 2007.
When I try to restore an old backup into BCM I get the error message "Create
database permission denied in database 'master'. Restore database is
terminating abnormally.
I have tried creating a new backup and restoring it but get the same message.
I would be grateful for any suggestions

Create time entry greyed out for recurring appointment
We are trying to create time entries for recurring appointments.
Because the duration of the actual time spent per day varies, we are
trying to modify an occurrence and create a time entry. The option is
greyed out and not available. Is this a limitation of recurring
appointments? Is there a way around this?
We have Office 2007 and BCM 2007 and Office Accounting Professional.

BCM with Hosted Exchange Service
Clients have Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 SP2 (Volume Licence) on
Windows XP and we connect to a Hosted Exchange 2003 service via rpc
over https.
Are our users licenced to download and install BCM Update for Outlook
and will the functionality work properly in this scanario.
