BCM 2007
I have just upgraded to Office 2007 and with it got BCM, so I thought I would
put it to good use.
My requirements are quite simple but I am getting really confused as to how
to use it effectively. I want to use it to track multiple leads that are
provided to me by my Business contacts.
I've tried setting each lead up as an opportunity (which it is) and linking
it to the business con...

BCM Required Fields
Hello Everyone,
If you customize your Windows User Interface as far as colors, this is just
a littel tip. For all users that change the "ToolTip" backround or "Color 1"
color will appear in all "Required Fields" of Business Contact Manager.
After ripping my hair out last night, I couldnt understand why all my
"Required Fields" were BLACK. I couldnt see anything I was typing. Then i...

BCM - SQL Replication?
Is it possible to deploy the BCM database to a remote SQL 2005 server (for
office workers) but also have a "local" SQLExpress database on a notebook
which replicates changes back and forth (for mobile workers)?

new emails not showing up in inbox anymore (happened right after new BMC 2007 install)
I just installed BCM 2007 on my laptop running Office 2007 pro plus.
After I installed BCM (seems to be working fine), my inbox is no
longer getting updated with newly arriving emails.
What happens is I hear the tone that new mail has arrived and the
"inbox" in the folder list turns bold and lists the number of unread
emails. However, the list of emails in the message list remains
unchange...

Synchronising Outlook 2007 BCM with Blackberry
I know that it's possible to download a patch to allow Outlook 2003 BCM to
synch with Pocket PC, the questions are...
1. Is this also available for BCM 2007
2. Does this work/is a similar patch available for Blackberry?
I'm just looking at mobile devices as contract is coming to an end...

Remote online access to shared BCM database
I understand that I can share a BCM database on a SBS2003 box. How can we
access it online from outside the network?
I assume OWA doesn't work for BCM. VPN is too slow and not easy to set up in
our experience. Is there another way to access the BCM database?...

OL 2007 with BCM and Exchange
This may be a basic question, but we have just installed Exchange. We were
using ACT but didn't like it and wanted to us BCM instead. In 2007 can the
database you create in BCM be shared with all team members? Or is the
information specific to that user? I don't want to import/export data all the
time. We obviously had 1 ACT database that we all made changes to with
client information...

help with fixing/updating BCM
I've never used BCM on my machine, but my mom today has run into

message that BCM had to shut down because it experienced an error. It
wouldn't shut down on it's own, so she ended the process in task

However, I would like to have other contacts associated with this company,
