SDK Usage
We have downloaded the SDK and have a good idea of the "how"... but we are
trying to get a real sense of "what" can actually be done.
Is anyone doing anything interesting right now with the SDK to overcome some
of the limitations of BCM?
Maybe a custom field and table for doing the advanced many to many linking
that some users need, or custom reports to be added to the list of canned

Linking contact to account does not display linked account
I have used VB.NET 2005 to create a new business contact and link it to an
existing account. The code runs ok and the new contact is created. When I go
to the account I can see the new contact in the list of contacts. The
problem is that the linked account does not show on the business contact
record - eg the Account field underneath 'Linked Account' is blank. Many

Mail History & Exchange Server and Peer to Peer on Windows Server
Hi
I am looking for some advice from someone that has, hopefully, implemented
BCM in a similar environment to ours.
My company is considering using BCM as our CRM to log sales opportunities
and to also be a central 'store' for email history between us and clients.
However, we have been given conflicting advice as to how BCM works and what
it will work with.
Our set up is:

Outlook and BCM 2007 very slow
Dear All,
I've installed the BCM DB on a remote server and shared it to a small
number of users (3 at the moment).
I upgraded office from 2003 to 2007 and installed BCM on 1 desktop and
2 laptops. We are finding outlook and bcm to be very very slow.
I read a number of posts in this forum and others about problems with
outlook 2007 being very slow on XP machines.
We are in an exchang...

Synchronization with Exchange ActiveSync
I see that you have a tool for AS with BCM2007 - the problem is that we run
our system remotely and can only use Exchagne ActiveSync to sync contacts.
Is there any plan on having the Business Contact list auto-sync with user'
personal contacts?
We use a 3rd party product to sync between Public Folders and Personal
Contact lists but the product does not "see" the BCM folders (probably ...

Outlook BCM 2007 - Create from existing company??
[cross post from general questions]
Sorry, I didn't realize that there was actually a BCM section and so posted
this question original in Outlook General.
I was just wondering if there is a way to create a contact from an
existing company in the Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager. Outlook 2003
BCM had it and it was great time saver. Adding all of my business cards from
trips now is a...

I'm a newbie to BCM and I have a problem with customizing an opportunity.
I select View/Current View/Customize/Fields

But when I leave the opportunity to check emails or add a task and return to
the opportunity the customised settings have not been saved.
I'm sure this is something simply I have missed.
