Do Distribution Lists live on cach desktop, or can they be shared?

Automatically Make Appointments/Add to Calender from Opportunity
I am running a trail copy evaluating BCM 2007 for my Company. What we would
like is for the opportunity to show the reminder/ or custom field on the
calender with the sales stage or an action step. Is there an easy way to
do this without having to go to an appointment?

E-Mail History 8K Size Limit?
I am using Outlook 2003 BCN (fully updated) and I have come to realize that
the full e-mail is not kept in BCN history. Upon further investigation there
appears to be a 8K limit.
Why? I have more than adequate disk space. Doesn't this defeat the purpose
of using BCN as a "history" module?
Is there anything I can do?

BCM (Outlook '07) not working after re-install.
Hi, I purchased Office Pro 07, had bcm running fine on my Vista Home Premium.
Then it disappeared.
I tried to re-install bcm from cd-2, but that option was not checkable.
I unistalled all of office pro 07, then reinstalled it.
Inserted cd-2 and was allowed to reinstall bcm.
Still no bcm ribbon

Hi. I am using Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager. I have all of my
contacts set up into categories, in which I need to e-mail all contacts
within a given category at one time. Usually, you should be able to highlight
all contacts you want to e-mail, right-click, and select "new message to

Printing Business Contacts
We are using Business Contact Manager for Office 2007. We are having a
problem with printing Business Contacts. We have office 2007 installed on the
BCM server and on 4 workstations. We have about 1200 contacts. Everything is

tracking publisher mail merge
I'm trying to track a publisher mail merge, but I'm caught in a loop. When I
created the mailing labels in Publisher, it prompted me to start a BCM
marketing campaign. I did so & it imported my contact list. When I try to

Continued problems with BCM 2003 for Outlook SP4 in Vista Ultimate
I'm continuing to get a pop up error message in the Vista Ultimate SP1 laptop
when Outlook 2003 opens with BCM 2003 with SP4 running.
I have logged the error and the only [E] message is as follows (all the rest

Error importing Act! 2007/08 data
I am using the trial version of Outlook 2007 with BCM. It imports the data
from my Act! database for about 20 minutes and then quits, leaving the
following error in the log:
Type,Message,RowKey
Contact, System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type
'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.
How can this be fixed. I have no need for the 2007 product unless I can

when I open contacts tab, BCM disappears from the menu bar
On a new computer Using Vista with fresh repair installation of Outlook. BCM
installs fine, however when I select contacts tab, the BCM disappears from
the menu bar. Later a return to the mail tab provokes "BCM could not

Outlook 2007 crashes when BCM open in separate window
My client recently upgraded from Outlook/BCM 2003 to 2007. She likes
to have her Outlook calendar, tasks and BCM running in separate
windows. If she closes the calendar or tasks window while a window
running BCM is open, Outlook crashes. All is well if the BCM window is

Import contacts from Hotmail to Entourage
Does anyone know how to import contacts from Hotmail into Entourage so they
don't have to be re-entered
by hand? I was able to export from Hotmail to an Excel file. However, when
imported into Enourage, the info ended up in notes, not cleanly in the
contact for Entourage. I tried several methods to import, but none worker for
me.

viewing business contacts can you change default views?
when you open contacts and change yr view such as active, by category etc ,
you can take out fields such as payment, parent account etc etc. but then
when you reload the defualt view returns.
Can you change the fields at the top to stay permanent?

when you open your business contacts and go to view, you can view the
contacts and change and delete the fields you dont want to see, but then when
you go back to bcm after outlook or re-open bcm the default is loaded again.

Cannot Start SQL Server (MSSMLBIZ)
Error 1053. I have read all of the various threads and do not see a
solution. Keep getting a message during BCM install that setup failed to
install. Checked the MBSsetup logs and do not see any errors. In fact log
says BCM was successfully installed.
Problem seems to be with the SQL Server. Checked the even viewer and could
not find any resolution using MS support events.asp

BCM and home network
Hi,
Recently installed BCM on 2 machines w/XP. They both can see the shared
database thru BCM but since installed, neither can see the home network
anymore. Have tried all the usual stuff with no success. Any ideas?

Batch delete of accounts
Hello,
We have nearly 4000 accounts in our database and now find that when we try
to link an email to an account the list of names takes 15-20 seconds to load
which is starting to get quite frustrating as it is a regular action for us.

Create Outlook Rule - Delete when sending
I would like to create a rule that would automatically delete an email
that I send when there is a unique code in the body of the message
(plan to use my initials with two slashes a la "jf//".
