transferring old BCM files
Hello,
I need to transfer my old BCM 2003 data files from an external hard drive
(that came off a Win XP Pro system that blew up) to my new desktop with Win
Vista Home Premium system. I need to know the names/file extensions and
locations of all the old data files. All the documentation I see only says
how to backup or export using the functions in OUtlook which is not workable
now. Can...

Should I use BCM?
I entered an attorney's clients/contacts into Office Prof 07 BCM. He wants to

emails in client folders. Is there any reason for him to use BCM as he is not
using the majority of the BCM features? ...

tasks don't work
Recently my tasks throughout a shared database stopped working
properly. When a user tries to assign a task, they get a pop-up
message saying "Business Contact Manager for outlook could not
complete your last action or actions. Please try again."

assigned to, but does not show up in the history for the account/

Accessing BCM 2003 database remotely with Outlook 2007
This is now very frustrating. We had installed the BCM database on a remote
machine and were able to access it from Outlook 2003 with no problems.
Recently, I got a new laptop running Outlook 2007 - and now I get the
inevitable 'cannot access database on server' message.
Perhaps the database needs to be upgraded to 2007 - if so, will the other
machines with Outlook 2003 still be a...

Databases in Biz Contact mgr and getting back to personal contacts
1. Is there a way to view databases as tabs and switch back and forth from
one to another? If not, what is best way to switch and see multiple
databases.
2. I can't get back to plain outlook once in the Biz Contact Mgr without
exiting the program, is there another way to do it?

Do I have to set an option somewhere?

Duplicate Contact (Same Company) in Business Contact Manager 2007
Hi,
I have read other threads that suggest that there is no way to duplicate a

I have a hard time believing this.
What option is available for duplicating contacts in BCM? If I add a client
company, and there ten or twenty individuals that I need to add to BCM, do I
need to create each new contact individua...
