copy row 2 of any wsheet to the new crated wsheet
Hi there!
I have the code bellow that allow me to create and name the new wsheet,
now i need to copy what is in the row 2 of the prior wsheet or any sheet,
because all sheets have the same header.

Macro to transfer contents of 'Selected' cell to alternate cell.
I need a macro that will transfer contents of a cell that is currently
'selected / highlighted' to another cell, and if that cell is not blank then
to transfer the contents of the 'selected' cell to an alternate cell.

Time subtraction
I need to have a formula that will show how much battery run time I left.
A1 is Battery run time = 40.5 hours
B1 is time batteries started = 12:55 AM
C1 is time on batteries, =NOW()-B2
D2 will be the battery run time left.
I have tried formatting in several different modes, always coming up wrong....

Calculating monthly start date with a start date
I have a spreadsheet that I use to calculate dates for inventory supplies. I
have a formula that works great except for one function - I would like to be
able to use the start date of any month (January, February, March etc.) in
calculating what the next working day will be after entering 1/1/08, 2/1/08
etc.

Sumproduct across multiple worksheets
I have a collection of worksheets, each with the same format of report, and a
summary sheet which shows the name of each worksheet.
I want to create a selection sheet, where I can mark each of the required
sheets and have the selection sheet show the summed data.
I have tried :

indirect cell reference
I am trying to do a sum on certain sections of a list that is dynamic. So if
you assume you have a list of 100 cells in a column, and you determine that
you want to sum the values in three sections of this list. The start and
end rows of this list are in cells a1:b3. How would i use the sum function

formula cell format change
I have a new "feature" that showed up this week. If I type a formula
referencing cells that have a specific format the format of the formula cell
changes to match.
for example column A has been formated as text. if I type the formaula =A2 &
A3 into B2 (still with the default General format) when I press enter the

NOW() function that won't change
We use a spreadsheet to log incoming inspections of products. I want to
monitor how long it takes between receipt and inspection; receipt is logged
into a different spreadsheet with date and time. I want to have the
inspection worksheet automatically date stamp when an inspection is

I just want to count the occurrences for any given month in the year. How

Nested IF function
Hello All
=IF(ISBLANK(D2),"",TEXT(D2+3,"ddd"),IF(D2="Sun","Mon",D2)))
I am using this function in a worksheet to insert day of week. When
the day "Sun" occurs I want "Mon" to show in the cell instead (I get a
too many argument error). I get very confused with nested functions.

If statement with generic value
I have a spreadsheet for recording Board members' payments. All 4 quarters
are on one sheet with with subtotals after each quarter (cells C13, C18, C23
& C28) and a "Total Due This Quarter" in cell C31. What I want to happen in
C31 is only give the total for the current quarter. Is there a way to do
that even when I don't have a specific value in the subtotal cells?...

Summing on year and text conditions
I have a worksheet with date a bottle of wine is drunk (formatted as
yyyy-mm-dd) and another column indicating whether the wine was Red or White
(White exists as White, or White - Sweet Dessert, so the string "Whit*"
captures all White).
I want a count of total reds, whites, and overall total bottles consumed by

Circular Reference for Commission %
I am calculating the total cost of a job, which includes the commission. Of
course, as the commission is calculated, it increases the cost of the job,
which increases the commission, etc.
How can I resolve this issue so the total sales price shows the correct
commission?
Example, I want to sell a job for $10,000, and the commission at 7% would be
