cannot open excel files
Not how problelm started (maybe downloading updates ??) but when i try to
open excel program it asks me for microsoft office cd disk....i cant find my
disk although I do have my license key. When I try to install service pack
3 it also asks me for the microsoft office disk. Is there a way I can
restore this program from my hard drive??? Obviously, I am green when it
comes to computer...

how can i change the font size of autofilter pull-downs?
After I select the autofilter option and try to use it, I find that
I can not read the list of possible filters as the text is too small.

suggestion
I have created 8 buttons on "home page" which takes them to different hidden
sheets. On each of those hidden tabs is a button that says back to home. The
questions i have is i would like to have on those hidden tabs the same links
that are on the home page. In other words they wouldn't have to click the
home button to get to another tab. I hope this makes sense. But how would i

Can I print more columns underneath other columns on one page?
Is it possible to print, for example rows 1-15/columns A-F at the top of a
legal page (landscape) and then underneath it on the same page, rows
1-15/columns G-L?

Open Excel file get error with file names that have spaces in the
I started with a problem that all my excel files would open in the same excel
run. I did a few things to fix that through control panel/folder
options/advanced/open. I think that got fixed but then each file I opened had
a series of errors. Each space in any path or file name gave a message that

AutoFill feature not setup
It is my understanding that excel has this AutoFill feature which generates a
series of values into acent cells based on one cell using the fill handle.
For example, I type 'January' in A1, using the fill handle I drag to the righ
to B1 I should get 'February', then in C1 'March' and so on. This feature
doesn't seem to be set up on my 2007 version of excel. how do I turn it on?

Error message
I am working in 2003 excel. I am trying to have the tabs not appear when i

Navigation Toolbar for Exel created by Dave Peterson
I have tried to install the Navigation toolbar that Dave Peterson developed.
I followed the instructions step by step everything was correct until i got
to the part where the toolbar should be floating over the worksheet. I am

Hidden Tabs appear when I reopen the file
I am working in Excel 2003. I am not the designer of the program and there
are a lot of formulas, links etc in this program. However, i have placed

customized toolbars reset for no apparent reason can't find .xlb
I have added some icons to excel 2000 toolbars in order to more quickly work
on my spreadsheets. All the customizations disappear every so often. I
tried to locate the .xlb file per an article I read in this forum but I can't

Excel will not open good files
I reloaded Office 2003 after installing a new HDD. Now, Excel will not open
any excel file previously viewable.
Also have a 60 day free trial of Office 2007 loaded and cannot get Excel
2007 to open files either.
