How do I display the worksheet name in the title bar for Excel?
The workbook name does not appear in the title bar for Excel. How can I set
it up to do so?...

Global Settings
Can the default settings of screen options or print options be changed to
suit user preferences? For example, if I always create sheets without grids,
or if I usually print in landscape view, it'd be nice to not have to change
the settings every time....

How do I share a template in Excel
I want to be able to place a template in a shared area on a network and for
all users to be able to create new workbooks from it with a minmum of
disruption for each user. I can then change the template as required without
any interference to the users....

recommended settings for Office 2007
Hi Everybody,
Does anybody have or know where I can find recommended settings for
Office 2007? By settings, I mean the sub-menus when you click the
Office Button, then Excel Options. Right now I’m looking for Excel but
will soon need all of the Office suite. Alternatively, does anybody

can't print gridlines
I've read the posts and find no solution. Nothing works. Changed from Draft
to Normal print, checked & unchecked print gridlines, tried using the print
icon (it just prints without gridlines). Only emboldened gridlines show in
print preview sometimes. HP told me I had to re-load software. What do you
think"

I am new to excel and I was given this problem to practice, but dont know

Show cell contents in toolbar?
Entries in cells used to show up in a toolbar box but no longer does. I don't
know what I could have done to remove it, but I can't find a place to restore
this.

Worksheets don't display
When I open workbooks in Excel 2007 the main menu at the top shows, but the
worksheet itself doesn't show--it's just a blank gray screen. If I click the
drop-down arrow on the Quick Access Toolbar then my worksheet pops up. So I
can still get to it, but it is annoying to have to click that arrow in order
to see my worksheets....

Importing Weather Info
I have excel 2003 and am creating a spreadsheet to report chemical
applications. Is there a way to have office excel amutomatically import

Vlookup takes too long to save
Hey guys,
I have a master file that holds prices and other data (text) which feeds
directly to 3 other files...If I update a price in the master file it
propogates through to the other files, using the vlookup function.
In theory this is great. However, when I save it, it takes too long...and I
mean long...each file has around 20,000 lines...

How to use Excel.exe without installing Office in VB Application
I've created a VB application that processes Excel Workbooks. I have added
Excel.exe in the project references. on target Machine I can't install MS
office. When I'm creating the Setup for the VB application it gives me the
message that Dependency information not found for Excel.exe. So please tell
me hoe to use Excel.exe without installing it through MS office....
