Printing header question
Greetings
a) How do I put the contents of a cell into the header? (will vary from
worksheet to worksheet)
b) I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but where do I set the LEFT and
RIGHT header margins? (I can only find top and bottom) I'd like them to be
the same as the L and R margins for printing the main body of the document.

Getting extra page breaks in document
I have a document that is saved on a network drive. The file was opened on
four different computers. Two computers were desktops running Office 2003
SP2. The other two were Laptops with 1 running Office XP and the other
running Office 2003 SP2. Both the laptops recieve the same file from the

copy a scaled area in Excel into word with the same scale
I have made a page in excel wich in scaled modus, adjusted to one page looks
good on paper. There are appx. 1000 pages and I want to export a page now and
then into a word document, but there the scaling disappears. How can i

How can I print a worksheet in which some of the words and formulas...
when I print are hidden (hidden on the paper print only) without erasing or
deleting
the word or formula in the cell that you see in the monitor?

Print 3 sheets on the same page
Hi,
I have the following problem:
I have 3 worksheets with 5 rows of data on each worksheet. Now, I want to
print all three sheets on the same page (5 rows from the first sheet,
followed by 5 rows from the second sheet and finally 5 rows from the third
sheet).
Can anyone help me with this ?

Printing columns to an envelope in Excel 2003
A customer of mine has an Excel spreadsheet with 300 names and addresses.
The addresses are formatted in 5 columns: name, street address, city, state,
and zip code. She would like to print one column to an envelope. In Excel
you can change select the column for the print area, change the page setup to
an envelope, center the information on the envelope, etc.

Printing grayscale text
We have recently moved from Windows 98 to XP (same installation of
Office 2000). When printing to our HP Laserjet 2100 from the 98
computer we could print text in grayscale. Now we can't. I've checked
all of the boxes and it's none of the usual culprits. Any suggestions?

Printing an Excel document and an error message appears.
I was printing an Excel document and an error message shows: “Microsoft
Visual C++ Runtime Library, program C:\ Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\Excel.exe, abnormal program terminationâ€. I tried uninstalling
and re-installing Office 2000 but the problem remains.
I am thinking that it may be due to my outdated Office version, but it
appears that Office 2000 should be compatible ...

too many columns
Hi, I have a query that outputs about 35 columns in excel. Each column
is only ever going to have 2 or 3 rows so when I go to print Excel
wants to print 3 rows per page on about 10 pages. I would ideally like
to get all the information on one or two pages.
My print preview shows that it's printing about 3 columns per page. It

Insert Page Breaks?
I have a speadsheet which prints everything on one page. When viewing the
spreadsheet there is gray transparent "Page 1" visible on page while
editing. I want to insert horizontal page breaks in the document where the
room number changes (is sorted by room number and are only 3), but I cannot
figure out how to insert the Page Break. I have tried "Insert Page Break",
"Remove Page Break"...

Excel Doesnt print
My Excel 2003 doesnt print. All other Offfice apps print fine. When I click
the print Icon or go to FILE then Print in Excel I get an error that no
printer is installed, yet in control panel I have 2 installed. This was

Completely Remove Margins??
Is there any way to completely remove margins?
I am working on a document for printing temporary checks. (Legally) The
problem is, because of how the check stock is printed, etc, I need to be
able to print at the VERY TOP and VERY BOTTOM of the page. The sheets are
normal 8.5 X 11, cut into 4 horizontal checks. I have the left and right
margins perfect, but I can't get the top text ...

QUERY: API/SDK for Excel
Is there a MS Excel API/SDK? I just noticed a Excel plugin which was a dll
file. I am wondering whether it's possible for one to create his own plugins
for Excel and how to go about it?
Also, is it possible to link in Excel with another application, say a 3rd
party program. So that Excel worksheets and cells correspond to values
stored in a 3rd party program's database.
