Accidental deletion of a scenario
In the scenario manager, I accidentally pressed delete instead of add. An
existing scenario was inadvertantly deleted. It would be nice if there were
a confirmation warning, as Microsoft does so nicely in nearly all other such
contexts.

email from excel
I just loaded Office 2007. When in Excel I can hit the email button and the
file (2007 which has a .xlsx extension) I am working on will
automatically attach and email out with no problems. Problem is that when I
save the file as a 2003 .xls extension there is an error " the messaging
interface has returned an unknow error" the the alert # for this is 301670.

Trying To Save An Offline .cub File...
Colleagues:
I'm using SQL Server 2005 w. SP2 and Excel 2007. Have tried to create a
..cub file on my local file system based on a cube I have already created in
Analysis Services. I can read the contents of an Analysis Services cube into
an XL Pivot table with no problems - I select "Offline Olap" from the "Olap
Tools" option in the ribbon - I walk through the 4 steps to create the cube...

Excell recently used file list is inactive, how do I activate it?
In Excell XP Standard, under Tools, General, the option to activate the
recently used file list is not highlighted, the check box is grayed out,
Therefore I cannot activate it. It worked OK up until a few days ago....

data is corrupted when I import text file into Excel
I am opening a tab-separated text file into Excel. Everything is fine except
one column of data gets translated into some sort of format. For example, the
number "9612019505367510380337" gets translated into "9.61202E+21". I have
seen this other times with other folk's files. And I just expand the column

Scroll bar (control) doesn't scroll!! ???
Hi there. I have a scroll bar control in cell G84 that I need to scroll up
and down the E81 cell which is a merged cell consisting of E81:F83.
Is the scroll bar not working because it is a merged cell?
What can I do to make the scroll bar scroll up and down within that E81 cell
that has a lot of typed text?
It is not a protected sheet or locked cell.

Excel 2003 crashes when trying to copy/paste cells
This is a problem that I began having last week. When I copy cells in excel
and attempt to open a new email to paste it in, excel shuts down completely.
I have also attempted to copy cells from excel and paste into other Office
2003 programs and the same thing happens. Excel shuts down and if I have not
saved the file, everything is lost.

Linked Document Properties - long text strings
When I create a linked custom document property (to a Global name), upon
saving the document, the cell to which the link refers becomes corrupted.
Steps to replicated the problem:
Add a Global name to a cell with a short text string in it
Add a linked custom property to this cell
Change the text in the cell to a very long string (>400 characters)
Save and reload the file.

Multiple Worksheets and formulas

Excel found unreadable content in <filename>
Hi everyone,
I get a message "Excel found unreadable content in <filename>" and when I
trie to open it I'm told the file is corrupt. Does anyone know what caused

"cannot open the specified file" hyperlink
I have been using excel to create document list which hyperlink to .pdf, .doc
and etc.
The problem is with the pdf files, the hyperlink works well only for ~40
documents then it shows "cannot open the spicified file". Even I create the
link exactly the same way. Is this the problem of using Acrobat 7.0.0
Standard.

Auto save error msg Excel 2002
I am getting an auto save error msg, and when I try to access the tools,
options, save tab, I just keep getting the error msg and am not allowed
access to any of the tabs. I had previously cofigured auto save to our
network drive, and the network drive was changed. I have tried re-creating
the exact path that the original saved drive was on to no avail. I am using
excel 2002.

Toolbar buttons have wrong folder path for PERSONAL.xls
Recently, when I activate a personal macro using a toolbar button, I get the
message "A document with the name 'PERSONAL.xls' is already open." When I
examine the name of the macro assigned to the button, its path is to a
network folder (where I recently saved a backup copy of PERSONAL.xls), not
its correct location on my C: drive.

Word Wrap/Auto-Fit
I have word wrap set for a number of cells in my sheet. For some, the entry
wraps and increases the row height to accomodate the additional data. For
other cells, the data is there, but the row height doesn't increase unless I
double-click the row divider in the margin - at which time it automatically
increases to fit the data in the cell.

Excel 2007 - Chart Title bug
I have a problem when editing the title boxes in charts in excel.
When I try to edit the contents of the title box the software assumes that i
am deleting the existing title and inserts only the new test and dletes the
existing. When i delete the insertion the whole chart gets deleted?? Can only
add one character at a time. Occasionally the problem goes away but returns
frerquently.

WORKDAY function not working in Excel 2007

Error "BCM Office Add-in"
