Access will not permit me to open reports on new computer
An existing database has been in operation on desktops and network for some
time. When opening the database on a new laptop (via the network) it will not
permit me to open any of the reports or run any macro that references a
report. Tables, queries etc are all OK but only reports are a problem.
I assume it is a setting somewhere but cannot find what is wrong.
Please help!!!...

Sandbox mode
Hi,
I'm going to deploy Office 2003 via SMS 2003. However, we keep seeing
"unsave expressions are not blocked" message when I open any Access files on
a few test PCs. We are mainly using Windows 2000 with SP4 and also the
Rollup 1 so that should take care of the Jet 4.0 part. I know that I can
click "yes" to the message "do you want to block unsafe expressions" to
prevent this mess...

compact and repair works but yields corruption error message
I am running A2K on Windows 2000 on 6 local machines which house the front
ends. The back end is on a server 75 miles away. I know I shouldn't be
doing this over a WAN, but it is either that or nothing at all and I have
been getting away with it for over 2 years.
Recently, when I opened the backend exclusively and did a compact and repair
(after making a backup copy) I got the error messa...

Access 2002 on XP-Home edition
I have Access 2002 installed on Microsoft XP-Home edition. But are they
compatible? I am finding that when I try to run an event procedure created
for a form field, it always jumps to a procedure of code that is different
from the event procedure that I am trying to run, and naturally causes a
compilation error because it is the wrong procedure. Then when closing the
VB debugging w...

copy or ctrl+c, and each time I receive an error message asking if I want to
send a report. No matter what I select, I am bumped out of Access. When
