Can I use wildcards in a parameter search?
I'm trying to allow the user to input a few letters to a whole word to search
a field to bring up results for a report. I have no idea how to do this
properly. I've tried going the route of doing this within separate queries,
but I'm not sure the simplest yet most effective way to do this. ...

Calculating amount per
I have a report that shows me all activity at our docks for a give time
frame, SQL is below. This report works just fine but now that we have had
this db for a year my manager wants me to
compare 2009 to 2008 in months and years totals, show each months amounts,
difference in number of handlings, as well difference by percentage and
yearly as well.

Multiple Combo Box Values
I have a report that I use to make invoices. When an order is ready to be
invoiced, I have a query where I make final changes. My invoice report is

Multiple choices.
Hi Guys,
I have previously post this threat, I had have some answer but I haven’t
been able to do it, what I want is, before running a reports I need to choose
several records from a master table, I was thinking about two list box and
moving the data from a list box to another list box, I received some feedback

Summing on Reports
Hello, I was wondering how I build a field that sums all of the data from a
certain field. For example, I have a field in each record with dollar
amounts and I just want the SUM on a report.

Converting Seconds
I have looked through many, many posts and I have not been able to find an
answer to my question, so here it goes....
I have a report that tracks how long a person was in a certain phone state
[StateDuration]. The sum displays in seconds, I want to convert the seconds
to HH:MM:SS. The control source I'm currently using is:

Issues Calculating report footer
Your help with this will be greatly appreciated!!! This should be a pretty
simple issue to resolve but for some reason I'm having the hardest time
figuring out this simple footer.
The footer for 'Field A' below should be a total of footers Field B + Field C

Link between report and chart
I'm not a newbie to this (my history in the Access newsgroups will confirm

Toolbox Not Visible
HELP! I need to add text boxes to my reports, but when I click on the
Toolbox icon, nothing happens. The toolbar is not visible. I followed the
steps outlined in the 2005 post regarding changing the Startup options, but
that didn't solve the problem. to no avail. The Allow Built-in Toolbar
options box is checked....

Cannot set margins below 5.08mm
Hi,
Thanks to anyone who can help.
I am using Access 2007 and seem to have a problem whereby if I attempt to
set margins below 5.08mm Access behaves as if it has accepted this but if you
go back to query the margins they are not altered. Setting the margins above
5.08 seems to work OK....

Opening a report to a specific record
I have a 320 page report with an individual Item listed on each page of the
report. I have created a way to select an individual record to display on one
page of a report (done through a where statement I believe), however the page
number always says 1 of 1. Is there a way to change the page number to
reflect what the page number would be in the full report. i.e. page 56 of

Conditional Repeat Section
Hello and TIA
Can I set up a label to be printed only if there is data on a page? I
have a report with several agencies, I've setup the Agency Group with
a label and set the repeat section to yes. The problem I have is that
I am going to duplex print and if the page is blank I don't want an
agency label. Currently the Agency label prints on every page.

Urgent: Display Subreport Header when no data is present
