This works perfect: it is fast and it can handle large amounts of data (much more than 2 kb). I convert it into an ADE file: no problem. I have a 97 backend and a 2003 ..MDB file. I have been able to create mde files but recently my access locks up at about 75% complete and my cpu stays at 100%. I need to ask the use for their search keyword on the fly and then look it up and display it on the screen Form.
