unrecognized database format
Good morning.
I'm posting here, even though my issue is not a result of a DB conversion.
I have a 2000 DB file that I set up on a server and also emailed to a user.
My user and myself are both using Access 2003, but when my user tries to
access the DB on the server and locally, she gets this error message:
unrecognized database format 'path'.
To test, I converted my DB from 2000 t...

Preventing Upgrade Conversion
We've been running Access 97 for some time now, we have some 300+ DBs in it.
Some are production grade systems that cannot be easily upgraded due to a
swath of custom programming.
However, we have some that NEED to be upgraded to memory and performance
issues. We want to jump into Access 2003 but maintain Access 97 for as long
as necessary as we migrate all the databases over.

Excel to Access (2003)
I have an Excel 2003 database - list of alumni with names, addresses,
year of grad, etc. and I'm trying to import it into Access 2003. All
seems to go normally with the wizard, but then I get a "Subscript out
of range" message - twice during the attempt at conversion. The it
reports "...could not be imported".
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!...

lotus approach queries VS access queries.
Hi,
We are migrating from approach to access.
My basic understanding of the procedure is that the data has to be
migrated and all the other features like forms and reports have to be
recreated.
Is 'Approach query' different from MS Access query? Can this be assumed
to be replaced by Access query?
cheers,
Nuti

Copy/Paste from Excel To Access
Is it possible to copy and paste a range from Excel 2003 to Access 2003
where the format of the excel sheet matches the format of the datagrid?
Access responds with "the text is to long to be edited".
If not, is there any other way to copy in ranges of data to update or append
to an existing access table? I might want to update or I may want to append.
I though if I selected the correct...
