Access doesn't close after ActiveX control is embeded
I've created an ActiveX control to be inserted in an Acces Form. This
Control uses data from the database (file.mbd) where it is inserted and
from other mbd files more. Everything works well except that when I try
to close the application the database is closed but a empty Access
Widow stays opened (and it is not possible to close except using the
TaskManager).
Does anybody knows why it is...

Using Windows Media Player in form
In Excel I have a nice working form that will play a song in Windows Media
Player starting on a certain position. In the userform I have the following
code that works:
frmPlayer.WindowsMediaPlayer1.Controls.currentPosition = Range("B" &
TextBox2.Value)
frmPlayer.WindowsMediaPlayer1.URL = Range("A" & TextBox2.Value)

Problems connecting to SQL Server 2005
Hi
I recently installed the service pack on SQL Server 2005
and can no longer set up an ODBC link. I have allowed
tcpip. I can think of nothing else that I ought to do but still it won't
work and I am
tearing my hair out.

I have installed the module "clsjustifytext" by stephen lebans in a

Data Access Pages - slow opening
I have a problem when I am trying to modify DAP structure or save it. The
structure of the DB is: datawarehouse stored on LAN network drive, terminal
(linked tables, local tables, queries and pages definitions) stored on
desktop, data access pages stored locally (on C drive). The DAP are connected
to the system using .udl file with default settings.

Lebans Rotate Text Control
I just installed the Lebans Rotate Text Control, is there a way to convert an
existing Label Box into a Rotate Text box.
Or do I have to create the Rotate Text Control for each Label I want to

question on Tab Strip (OCX) and sub form
Hi,
I have build a universal search form having ProvinceID (combo) DistrictID
(combo) and CommuneID (combo). These combos are cascasded. I have a Tabstrip
(OCX) and a subform. I have two tabs, Project and Contact. The form is
almost working except that It ask for a parameter (linkchild & master
field). Once I click OK, it display correct information. Is there a way to
stop the form to ask ...

MsInet FTP 'hangs' now that new network-server is installed
My Access / VBA application, uses the msinet control.
It always worked fine to put file to the internet.
Now that the network-server has been renewed (windows 2000 to windows server
2003) this application, running on the client, 'hangs' while triying to put
files to the internet.
Other FTP applications on this client do function, but only whet set to
"passive mode".
Do you know how...
