Microsoft has encountered an Error -
I have a small application database that takes an extract from an AS-400,
massages the data slightly, and then generates two reports; one for matched
records and one for non-matched records. The queries that run the reports
work fine and the correct data is showing. When I try to run the matched
report, I get the infamous Microsoft has encountered an Error and must close.

not recieving emails
the email account my mother is using is only set on her pc in windows mail
she has'nt read an email for 4 weeks as any sent log on her inbox and delete
or disapear within seconds. i want to put her on windows live but can't
verify the email it sends to windows mail because it gets deleted. has
anyone any ideas? thanks

check date
hello; i have date field in a form that update a field in temporary table
"tmppayment".
with update query i update the payment table and delete the data from
tmppayment.
i want to check in table payment if the pay date is not valid and if the
last pay is for instance 1/08 the field in the form will update to 2/08 and
the user get a message about that .

Hi,

Query - Date - Month Plus One?
This should be a simple query formulation.
The date is 11/15/2008. I need a query expression to simply show the month
and year following that date.
Examples:
11/15/2008 should show 12/2008
12/12/2008 should show 1/2009.

Yes/No Fields, a Query, and a Macro
I am new to using yes/no fields. I have two tables:
My ‘goals’ table has these fields:
IDKey, Employee, and Goals
My ‘Mapping’ table has these fields:
ID, Name, RVP, and Changed (this is the yes/no field).
I have a query, named ‘LookupChanges’ and the SQL is as such:

Too mnay records?
I have created a database by importing an excel spreadsheet. There are
227,000 records of items and which are in one of the tables. This represents
4 years data. There are about a dozen other tables but they are practically
empty. The main table with the high number of records has 21 fields. Each
field is specific to that item and I am confident that the data base is
normalised, I'm not ...

Relationships in Split database
Hello,
I know, from previous experience, that when the Relationships between the
table's are characterize in the back database, they are outomaticlly get the
same
characterization when we add them to the Relationships board in the front
database.
What can be the reasone that it is not happned ?

Access 2007 Runtime Followup
1. You don't need A2K7 installed to be able to run an MDB created
with A2K3 with the runtime. You just run it.
2. You *do* need A2K7 installed to use the Developer Extensions.
I couldn't figure out how the extensions are actually implemented.
All I could see was a DLL and tried registering it in A2K3, in the
hope that it would run from there, but it didn't.

Have a new Sony laptop...set up windows email...was sending messages
ok...now I am getting an error that says "the language is no longer
available for spell checking..please select another from the spelling
options dialog." Where is this dialog? Also, when I go into my computer
and check languages, it is on english!!!

Error when canceling
I am trying to eliminate an error message when a user hits cancel. For
example, in one location, the standard warning displays when the code
asks for an sql update command. If the user says no to this, the
following is displayed:
The RunSQL action was cancelled.
with End, Debug and Help buttons.
How do I eliminate this?

copy and paste from datasheet to excel
I am trying to copy data from a datasheet from into excel. All seems to go
well (no error messages) but when I paste in excel, I am only getting a
portion of my data in one particular field. When I try to just isolate that
one field and copy/paste it, its the same thing. I've also tried exporting
via OutputTo and TransferSpreadsheet macro commands, with the same result.

Access 2007 - New - Macros - Transfer Spreadsheet Action
I just got upgraded to Access 2007. I need to create a new macro. The
actions dropdown are very different. I don't see any options that will allow
me to transfer a spreadsheet (or any other kind of document) into the
database.
Is there a setting I need to change?

IS MySQL BETTER?
Hi All,
A friend insists that if I really want to write database programs that will
sell, I should change to MySQL. I do not know anything about MySQL other than
that it is a SQL language. What advantages does it have over Access? Will it
be easy to use as a back end or will I have to find a front end for it?

Comparing Records in a Table
I am attempting to compare records in a table based upon a particular field
(employee field) to see if another field is equal (hours). There is another
field that will always be different (hours code). In other words, I want to
compare records where the employee is the same, with different hours codes,
