If Word does not support animated Gif's then why does the help file tell one to: Select the animated GIF file, and then on the View menu, click Preview/Properties? (Not that this works 'cos Preview/Properties does not exist). So, who is telling porkies? I just want it to work. But the only way you'll see the animation is to save the document as a web page and view it in a web browser. Don't trust everything you read in the help file... some things in there may be true only under certain circumstances, but the help omits the limitations; and a few things are simply wrong, maybe because the help had to be written long before the features were finalized.
