having a chapter name below the chapter number

Am a novice here and will try to be as clear as possible.

I would like to create a chapter style in word where the chapter name
appears below the chapter number, but in the table of contents they
appear together. In the chapter numbering I'd like to have

Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION

but in the TAC I'd like to have

Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION ....1

Can anyone help me?

Have a look at Ms Barnhill's webpage that does cover this layout, the
specific section is near the bottom of the page but the whole page is very
informative.
