Cannot print Reports

I am selecting Business Tools|Reports|Opportunities then any report.

I just get a cryptic message "The report could not be generated. Please try
again"

Which I have done, to no avail. I just get the bsame message. The same
message appears if I try and run any report.

Any ideas anyone? The Help is pretty useless.

I am having exactly the same problem and cannot find a reference or help
anywhere.

Thank you Geoff.
You mentioned that the error happens with any Opportunities reports. Does
the same error happen with any other types of reports (Accounts, Business
Contacts, etc.)?

Geoff, in order to help, I will need to have more information from you. From
your post, it sounds like you are using BCM 2003.

Can you tell me which operating system do you have (Windows XP, 2003, 2000,
or Vista), and which service patch BCM has right now (find out by going to
Outlook's Help menu > About BCM)? Will you mind trying to patch to SP3
(version 2.0.5324.0) and try again?

Please let me know if there is any change after applying SP3.

Hi John
I get the error on any report I attempt.
The first time in any session there is some disk activity before the
message, thereafter the message is just about instant

Can you please tell me which version of BCM you have? Do you have version
2003 or version 2007? If it is 2003 running on Windows XP, are you running
with the latest service patch (currently being SP3, 2.0.5324.0)?
