User cannot backup BCM Database

I have created a BCM database and shared this with users. In the users
dialog box the users are shown as Database User. I want one of the users to
backup the database each evening but the backup and restore buttons seem to
be greyed out on their computers. Does this mean that only the database
owner (the person who created the database) can back it up. Thanks for any
assistance.

Yes, that is right. Only Database owner can backup/restore database.
