SP4 for Outlook 2003 with BCM

Does this Service Pack (SP4) fix the incompatibility issue with Vista Home
Premium ? I don't want to go through reinstalling Vista Home Premium only to
find that the "known compatability" isn't fixed. The MS Webpage states that
this SP fixes "Application compatibility with Windows Vista". Not
necessarily excluding VHP but not explicitly citing it either.

Thanks for any info

Steve

Hi Steve,

Office 2003 is only up to SP2. Do you mean Outlook XP?

cheers,

I would assume that the fixes in SP4 are for differences between Xp
and Vista in general.

The only issue I've ever heard of in this department is that Xp Home
could not be used to host BCM shared databases. I have seen anything
about different Vista versions.

That said, I've run into issues trying to configure networks with both
Xp Home and Vista Home editions, including Premium. Home is really
designed for home use and Professional for business use. I suspect
single users on a single machine won't notice the difference, but I
wouldn't want to run a business network with Home Vistas; domain or
workgroup. And the latest Vista Ultimate update, this week has some
really cool new DreamScene wallpapers....
