After reading your post I tried to open one of the same documents that would not open yesterday. It opened in record time with no error. Now I can't remember if the computer was rebooted since the error message or not but I tend to think not.
I'm glad to see that it is now working properly but dare I say it? this is after all MS Windows. Sorry.
In all candor, not since Windows 95 have I had so many issues as with BCM, or at least I think that is the culprit. I have been running fairly smooth and clean for a few years. I have currently 12 computers in my company and our company used to manage the network and help desk for two small clients with about 25 computers each so I have some experience with daily problems. Since XP I have been very pleased and the two clients fired us because everything worked so well.
Anyway, I understand that BCM is being called on to do some pretty sophisticated work and I appreciate the features imensly but it does shut down a lot. Hopefully the so appointed folks will get the bugs fixed and some updates out.
Thanks for the quick response. Jim
