BCM with Hosted Exchange Service
"Craig" <craig_strangwick[ at ]hotmail.com> 1/10/2007 3:16:01 PM
Clients have Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 SP2 (Volume Licence) on
Windows XP and we connect to a Hosted Exchange 2003 service via rpc
over https.

Are our users licenced to download and install BCM Update for Outlook
and will the functionality work properly in this scanario.

Thanks

Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Update will work with your hosted
Exchange settings. You might need to uninstall any previous versions of
BCM, then remove previous versions of BCM from your Outlook profile(s), and
then install the latest version of BCM and any service packs.

Please note that BCM does not store contacts in Exchange. BCM contacts are
stored in a separate SQL database which can be shared within your network.
BCM does not show up in Outlook Web Access (OWA).
