OneNote Mobile
elmer.fonseca[ at ]gmail.com 2/3/2007 5:53:27 AM
I have a Motorola MPX220 smartphone with Windows Mobile 2003 SE.

I have installed in my Notebook, Office 2007, with OneNote included,
and I'm trying to insall OneNote mobile in my smartphone.

When I install it I get the following error message:

"Installation failed. The program or setting cannot be installed
because it does not have adequate system permissions"

And I can't install OneNote mobile.

So I need help, because I don't know what is wrong.

For more detail about my smartphone, I go to Menu Settings then,
About, I get the following information:

Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition
Version 4.21.1088

ROM Update Versions:
Operator: 0.120.6011.0
Manufacturer: 1.430.0.0
Microsoft 4.21.15101.0

Please help me.
Thanks a lot.

Are you an admin on your machine. Your config support OneNote Mobile. Try
copy the OneNoteMobile.CAB file from the “C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12\1033” folder to your mobile device, and then run the cab file
on your device. Let us know if you still have problems.

Hello,

I have the same issue as described in the previous person's post. I did the
recommended action by copying the CAB file onto my storage card. The same
error appeared, and automatically deleted the CAB file from the mobile device.

I am a local administrator on my laptop and have also installed Pocket
Streets with no issues. What else could be the problem?

I am using the following

Windows Mobile 2003 2nd Edition
Version 4.21.1088 (build 15045.2.6.0)
