I use onenote 2003 and 2007 in combination with a WACOM tablet.
Handwriting looks in onenote 2003 much better as in the newer
version. Can I switch one this smoothing function in the 2007
version?

Can you try to turn on "Tools | Options | Pen | Use pen pressure sensitivity"
checkbox in OneNote 2007 and see if the ink rendering looks better on desktop
machine?

Thanks,
Doehee

I have exactly the same situation - Wacom tablet - and I am very unhappy with
the ink appearance in 2007 vs 2003, it comes out looking almost like a pen
that is "bleeding", and any tiny wiggles in my line-drawing seem almost to
get amplified. But 2003 made nice smooth lines, visually pleasing.

I tried turning on the pressure sensitivity, and restarted the tool as
directed, but - it made no difference! For some reason it does not seem to
work with my tablet, even though other applications I use successfully
respond to the pen pressure.

So, same question - any way to turn on 2003 smoothing, OR, to get the pen
pressure to work?

I'm having the same problem, pen pressure won't work in onenote 2007 even
thought it works in word 2007 and journal.
