The web interface on microsoft.com to access the newsgroups has been
experiencing technical difficulties for several days. If you are unable to
find replies to your posts you have the following options:
- Click in the "Search For" text box near the top of the page and type your
name, and click Go. The Search Results will display your posts and replies.
- The majority of those who utilize the newsgroups use an alternate
newsreader, such as Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail to access the
newsgroups. Click this link to add the office.misc (Office General)
newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.office.misc
To find your replies in Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail use one of the
following:
- Click View/Current View/Show Replies to My Messages (Ctrl+H)
- Click Edit/Find/Message, use the From, Subject, or Message text boxes and
enter your search criteria
To obtain a list of all newsgroups you subscribe to click the Newsgroup
button
