Word add-in for QuickFinder
RangerRick 11/3/2008 1:28:01 AM
At work, before MS Office we, used Word Perfect for our word processing
needs. Word Perfect had features of QuickFinder and a document previewer to
manage our documents. I need an add-in for Word that does the same thing.

Thank you,

Which version of Word and OS? Find and Preview are normally available in the
standard Word File, Open dialog.

Yes. MS hasn't sorted that yet...

However, if you use Windows Explorer with the Preview Pane, you can
certainly select documents, gifs, pngs, jpegs, etc., and preview them. You
can preview PDFs if you have an up to date Adobe Reader installed.
