Review option settings are lost in Word 2007 Elliot <eselick[ at ]gmail.com> 12/31/2008 2:46:20 PM Hi I have tracking on in Word 2007 with the view set to "Final Showing Markup". Each time I open the same document all the the "Show Markup" options are on even though I've turned them all off except for "Comment". I'm pretty sure these settings were saved with the document in Word 2002. This is a constant source of frustration and lost time, especially when I need to review many documents and reset the options one by one. Any ideas would be most appreciated. It's reminding you to Accept All Changes before you let anyone else see it. Would you rather send it to someone without realizing they were getting the commented version, and then they happen to turn on Show Markup -- perhaps to make their own changes -- and see something they shouldn't?
