Opening maximized
candy100 12/17/2008 9:48:01 PM
Windows XP
Office 2007

Can someone please help me. I am going berserk with Word. I want it to open
Maximized. I have clicked Properties, and on the Shortcut menu, selected
Maximize, Apply, OK. It works once or twice then reverts to opening less than
full screen.

I know that it is supposed to open to the size it was previously opened in.
But opening Word, maximizing it, closing it and then reopening it has no
effect. I still get less than full screen.

What do I need to do to make it open Maximized every time?

Thanks for all the help you wonderful people give us.

Happy Holidays

Candy

Are you using that shortcut to start Word, or are you double-clicking on
documents to open it?

If that's the shortcut whose Run property you have modified, then I don't
have any explanation for this behavior.
