Any VOIP link e.g. Skype?
Jimmy Stahl 6/15/2007 4:16:00 PM
Can OL 2007 (with or without BCM) integrate to make or display calls using a
VOIP service? For instance, while viewing a contact simply click a phone
number to call and it dials, keeps track of time on call, and records the
event in history?

How about incoming calls, will it display caller ID and open the related
contact record instantly, and allow me to accept or reject the call and send
it to voicemail?

If not able to work with VOIP, will it do these things with POTS?

if your VoIP provides tapi drivers that do it, yes it will. outlook doesn't
have such features built in so it will not work with pots unless you have
special drivers.

That would be a great feature though. maybe when live messenger comes up to
speed with yahoo, aim, and skype and add a better voip to it, it can
integrate this feature
