Bulk change "active" to "inactive"
David Rowell 5/16/2007 11:55:00 PM
I'm not sure how it happened; maybe in connection with Quickbooks data
migration; anyway, I ended up w/ all my business contacts "active," and I
need to make about 600 of them "inactive." Is there any convenient way to do
this?

Thanks in advance . . .

Thanks for the question. One way to do it is, In Business Contacts folder,
change the folder view to [By Active] and drag the contacts from 'Active:Yes'
grouping into 'Active:No' grouping. You can drag all contacts together. But
dragging 600 contacts might slow down outlook, instead do it in batches of 50
or 100.

I hope this answered your question.

Thanks,
