Office Professional Plus.. "This application failed to install" djchad 6/3/2007 7:18:01 PM I don't know what to do.. I got a new computer a few days ago and I downloaded office for it, but I keep getting this message. I doubleclick the file X12-30196, the install window comes up and says "extracting files" then a few seconds later it says "this application failed to install". Anybody have any ideas?

I downloaded it as per the instructions it came with. I was told to substitute the key I was given for the trial key. The problem I'm having right now is that it never even gets far enough to ask for the key.
